i havne't found anymore GGG on youtube past ep 7, but i saw the GGG FINAL eps, 1 and 2, i am currious how GGGG comes in as well as GFG
GGG Final and series Spoilers, highlight to read: Galeon was built by an alien scientist named Cain, he sent Galeon and his son Latio (Mamoru) to Earth. He incorporated a database into Galeon, which detailed various mechanics which the Gutsy Geroid Guard used to build the Strongest Brave Robo Corps and the Gaomachines. In Final, it is revealed that Cain had also built a group of Gaomachines, dubbed "Genesic Machines" to combine with Galeon to form the "true" Gaogaigar, although initially Galeon needs to be upgraded within the G Crystal to make him fully compatible (Genesic Galeon, a slight power up). Basically, Genesic Gaogaigar is the completed form of Gaogaigar, the version that Cain originally envisaged. Gaofighgar on the other hand is 100% man made, based on what was learned after studying Gaogaigar. The core, Phanton Gao / Gaofar, has an AI programmed by a child genius Alouette, who gets about 5 seconds of screen time in a flashback. Essentially, Galeon leaves Earth at the end of the main series after the Zonder and Primevals are exterminated, but because other threats might arise GGG commisioned a completely man made Gaogaigar. No, you don't get to see the creation of Gaofighgar in the series. He's just there at the start of Final, but there is an audio drama and a manga that cover the events leading up to GGG Final.
buy the DVDs, then. the series isnt selling well, and we all need to support it to make sure they actually finish it. if enough people buy the DVDs, maybe they'll consider other brave series too.
i found the series on amazon. i am going to Portland OR this weekend and checking the video stores there. I would like to get as many episodes on dvd as i can. the main reason i am really digging this show now is that i am a combiner junkie. I love any transformer or toy that combines to form a larger toy or whatnot.
I'm ticked Best Buy stopped selling the DVDs in store and I haven't run across them anywhere else either. I bought the first two the day I saw them on the shelf, but just haven't forced myself to buy the rest online. (Oddly enough according to my records I haven't bought any DVDs since January...)
The last one I could find at Besy Buy was volume 2. I had to resort to FYE for 3, and I haven't been able to find 4.
Yeah, Best Buy only shipped volumes 1 and 2 to stores. I've checked FYE, but never found any there. I think volume 4 was released the last week of March and 5 is scheduled for June 5th. I'll get them next time I order from DeepDiscount or something, it just doesn't fit into my finances right this minute.
The best place to buy GaoGaiGar DVDs is deepdiscount.com . They're $18 and change INCLUDING shipping.
I'm importing them anyway! Thank goodness I got that region-free DVD player! (hugs his primarily region 1 DVD collection)
Then you'll likely love all Brave series. they're insane with combining. GaoGaiGar tones it down a bit though.
Indeed. Hound_Dawg, wait until you get your hands on Pegasus Saber. I'll stop juuuust short of calling it a religious experience.
awww MAN! i just saw the animation of Pegasus Saber combining. that is freak'n SWEET! i gotta get the toy now! I just got all the dvd's i can find. 3 vols. at suncoast. I haven't been able to check them out yet, but i have the whole day ahead of me
Toyarena is definitely great to work with... the prices are high, but he will do some discounts if you're buying in large amounts. I did a giant (over $1000) purchase with him a few years back and he really hooked me up!
