But its disappointing that of all the Sentais with robot/animal themes only one series had a them be both transformable into seperate robots AND combine.
This isn't particularly relevant but it is being mentioned in here, but I recently bought my first Power Rangers Megazord since I had the first one all those years ago, one of the Jungle Fury ones that was on clearance at Target, and I have to say...wow do these things suck. I mean, I have to assume there have been better zords for there to be collectors and such, but boy howdy is this thing poor in nearly every respect. It's the one with the gorilla, penguin, and antelope. Separate they have no articulation, together they have no articulation, hell the penguin doesn't even transform (although it being a penguin launcher is about the only positive I'd give it) The only thing other thing nice I'd say about it the design is nice, but other than that...I mean, Brave toys from 15 years ago are better made than this thing.
Jungle Fury zords are some of the worst ones they've made imho. Very boring. Try the Delta Max Megazord. It's awesome. It can do giant combined robot mode and robot riding bike mode.
i give you that one delta max is awsome..... it was the second turbo megazord the Deluxe Double Morphin Rescue Megazord that transformered to figure then vehicle ect.... i stil got a load of power rangers if anyone wants trade lol including the original MMPR
Yep. Thats the one I was refering to. They had very simple transformations though from what I could remember.
yeah basic basic, a pull out legs and flip up head job. Lol very basic . I guess the astro and delta megazord were very takara like as well. What do you think?
I can see that. With the little ship becoming integral part of giant space ship and second mech becoming armour for first. Quite Brave like in fact. Now if only the small ship ALSO transformed into a small robot .
I find the construction really nice. I bought the same jungle master set and then the disney jungle pride set with the 'japan only' geki-lion and chameleon included. That prompted me to get the japanese geki shark and geki elephant. The addition of the extra animals as armour/weapons make the two somewhat lacklustre core toys a lot more interesting and actually look good. I find the current RPM series a big let down, the complete lack of any original full size DX megazords is a first for power rangers. At least with jungle fury the DX megazords were pretty much the same as the gekiranger versions. I was always impressed with the big boxed zords but the rpm line just seems very 'small' by comparison. I'd love to buy a paleomax megazord (it has nice blend of various old skool themes in one) but the upcoming shrunken version doesnt interest me, the parring down of size and detail just takes away a lot of the impressiveness of the original toys. Doesnt bode well for the next? line with the samurai theme.
changing the subject slightly did someone say they can get hold of over sized bruticus? If there are power rangers in here check out my site and look at my mmpr megadragon zord he i up for trade. Lol now back to the greatness that is braves
Pictures! Because I haven't done any in forever. Brave Heroes! GaoGaiGar - In series (but not in scale) ... and these are just for you, rizuan No pictures of Raijin-Oh's Dragon friend because A) He kind of sucks, so he's in storage and B) I don't want to deal with him. See also: "He kind of sucks"
Riz already has Raijinoh (most of him anyway) . But those are some awesome pics. Love the Gai -> Genesic Gaogaigar one. Always get a chuckle at the fact that Masterpiece Exkaiser is smaller than a Microman.
I know, he's just been bugging me to take pictures of mine I know, right? He's surprisingly well articulated and designed for his size, though!
Yeah, not so much. He wouldn't be so bad if he could move his arms worth a damn, and while the big diecast legs are nice in theory, they combine with his rather worrisome hip joints in dragon mode to make me afraid to transform him for fear of breaking. So yeah. Back in the box he goes. Eheh. Oh well.
