Hey Folks! I had the good fortune to get my hands on a review sample of the Acid Rain Stronghold. You can check out my review at HISS Tank: Acid Rain ST-1 Stronghold Marine 303rd Quad Eyes Review By Monte Williams - HissTank.com - G.I. these things look awesome. Not sure I want to start treading into a new line to collect. What's the back story here? Is there a comic/movie/animation it's based on?
I came to TFW hoping there'd be a thread on these already. I almost certainly in, at least for the dune buggy one. These things look awesome, even the human figures. I'm glad there's a review though, thanks for that. I do wish there was an option for cheaper, non-painted/weathered ones too. Not that they don't look great, but it'd be neat to do them up myself and I'd hate to paint over their hard work.
Very impressive, especially from Vangelus review Unfortunately between 3P, MMPR Legacy, Macross, and SHFiguarts, I have too many premium lines going on
These look great. The human figure look to have the articulation other 3.75" figures really should all have, and of course I love the collector oriented level of detail.
BBTS Acid Rain vehicles for TF collection Bbts just sent out some info regarding a new vehicle line that is suppossed to fit in with TF and GI Joe collections. Here's the link for anyone who is interested... Acid Rain Toys, Action Figures, and Collectibles
I remember these from Botcon last year but the cost is what held me back. Does anyone remember how much they were at Botcon last year? Thanks MM
These look awesome.. An amalgamation of GI Joe and Transformers. I would like to display them as human enemies of the Transformers. Pre-ordered six pilot figures, one victory set, and one each of the vehicles.
If I was still into collecting GIJoe I would be all over these. I may pick up one of the Strongholds though.
