The rumor is that Finn defects so I assume what he's wearing on that figure, the Han Solo style vest, is his 'hero' outfit. What's interesting with Chewie is the head and belt/purse are in gray proto plastic as if those parts are being changed, but the head doesn't look much different to me. It almost looks like his mouth isn't as open as the current figure but it could just be the angle. Also I'm pleased to see he has both arms. I never liked the rumor that he would be sporting a robotic arm in #7 due to a war wound. Wookies remove other's arms, not lose their own.
All things subject to change, but as much as I'm looking forward to Ep. VII, I don't know that I'm gonna want the figures/toys for the new movies. I mean, by the time I see the movie, I might have totally flipped on this, but just looking at those prototypes doesn't do anything for me, right now.
I can't resist asking; is the first proto figure supposed to be Boba Fett? I'm not even sure if he will be in Episode 7, or survived the sarlacc pit, so don't laugh at me for asking. Just wondering if that is the "30 years later" episode 7 version. Would be cool if he makes a return in the new movies. I never felt like he met a fitting end in ROTJ. I mean, he could have easily got out of it.
I have no guesses as to who that is supposed to be. Wouldn't this be too far into the future for Boba Fett to still be alive, though? I mean he was like ten years younger than Anakin, and Anakin was an old man in Jedi, and this takes place 30 years after Jedi.

yeah, i just got a shipment the other week. You can keep up with him on his blog, he usually posts whats going on with delays and so forth. I'll admit hes not the fastest, but hes been going through switching distributors lately to hopefully resolve that. you can email him too, hes pretty responsive. I dont know if i want to get into the new triology figures, i'm already questioning the prequel figures i have, might refocus my collection on just the original three. I hope they dont stop putting those out with the new movies coming out.
As I only collect the 6" figures that are helmeted/masked I'll buy an Emperor's Royal Guard, AT-AT Pilot, and Snowtrooper if they come out and I'm done.
