I noticed that my local walmart just clearanced the vader 40th sets to $30. The 40th singes are still regular price but have not been restocked since the 1 box of wave 2 figures that they got in. Were the 40th figures only meant to have 2 waves? I thought I read somewhere that vader would see a single release later on.
Vader is coming in the upcoming Episode VIII wave. It is rumored to be double packed so they'll be a better chance to get one.
Hello all.... I am very new to Star Wars Black series collecting. I have aways been a huge fan of the movie but never collected the toys. I am a die hard Joe and TF collector but when I saw the new 40th figures, I had to dive in..... My question is, will they be releasing future waves of the 40th carded figures past wave 2? If not, I am definitely going to have to start picking off the classic episode 4-6 figures in their black series releases..... Thanks for your help.....
Nothing is planned at the moment, however I wouldn't be surprised if Anniversary versions of Empire and RotJ will follow when their anniversary year hits. It's printing money to re-release them for anniversary years on new vintage styled card backs. I'd prefer it if he came with two heads so we could replace the flight suit version from TFA with a better sculpt while his regular look gets to keep the new head. But who am I kidding, this isn't Marvel Legends, multiple heads for a character haven't been seen since Darth Maul.
Some mook on 4chan posted a list with the snowtrooper and AT-AT pilot being reissued for TLJ. Why. I've had 3 sets from the Revan case that nobody would even look at.

It's Hasbro for ya But yeah, I did see the Snowtrooper once, but never the AT AT driver. The distribution is fuct. So fuct, you can't even spell it correctly.
They didn't even ship to this area to shelfwarm but I still can't get rid of them for $20 even as BBTS has started listing 6" stuff for $25. I hate bundling but lucking into hot figures occasionally and listing them together as a set is about the only option these days.
I hate they are using those rubber robes on figures. Seriously hinders leg movement. Might as well make them a unileg so they can at least stand easily.
