It does loook better out of package from a distance. The airbrushed green highlights are way too overdone.

We found one in KC last week, but I didn't buy it. When I saw one locally here the other day, I had to text a bud to see if it the version he got was black and green or just green on green. He's still a great action figure and I actually love the green colors (all inaccuracies aside).

I've been opening up my wave two figs one each day. Today I opened up Bucky Cap. He's actually way better than I thought he would be. Those ankle rockers are excellent on him. It took a bit to find one with decent eyes though.

so, looks like (not sure how much of this is known)
1: no more BaFs, just the stands from the Avengers line, minus the logo
I like this, as now I won't have random limbs all over the damn place
2: Red/black Deadpool = variant
I'm not as crazy as 96% of people for 'pool, so I'd rather he be in his 'normal' colors, of course he'll be scalped half-way to Mars......


Also, looking at it more now, Neo-classic or whatever they're calling the new IM, will go nicely with the West Coast team I'm trying to build, along with Agent of course. Mockingbird when? (they will never make any toys for Living Lightning, and this makes me sad)

Where did this info come from? Sad about no more BAFs, but I can kind of see why as it increases production costs and stuff. This also probably allows for more interchangeable case assortments without having to worry about people not being able to get all the BAF pieces.

I'm very happy to hear about the standard Deadpool variant. The last two releases of Deadpool go for stupid amounts of money on eBay.

Personally, I hate this, for many reasons.

BAFs were the only way to get not only obscure characters, but oversized ones as well.

Not only that, but I highly doubt we'll see a drop in the cost of these figures now that they are no longer spending the money on BAFs. The stands are just hollow cheap pieces of plastic. If you're taking out the BAFs then drop the price of the figures a few bucks.

The BAFs were by far my favorite two figures in the last two waves and was the only chance of really seeing a proper ML Thanos so I'm really disappointed.

This just reeks of Hasbro cost cutting that we've seen in every line so far -- scale back on features but keep the same price. Not impressed.

And haven't we already gotten a Sentry? I thought they were going to avoid doing re-dos of Toy Biz figures? Putting out red / black Deadpool again is a smart move on their part though we all saw it coming.
