Saw the new FF Sue and Johnny at the comic shop today. No Kang or Dragon Man though. Sue looks pretty good, but lacking in leg poseability. We finally get an all human, non flamey Johnny..and it looks like crap. Hard to explain what's wrong with it..I think it has something to do with the snap on flame stuff. But his chest is too big or his head is too small and he's got no torso movement. He Just looks..top heavy or something.
You know who needs a toy? Awesome Andy. He could come with a decapitated Mad Thinker head. I’m not saying that as a joke, I would love an Awesome Andy.
You know what? I've never seen the first series of Fantastic Four figures in stores. Then again, I haven't been to TRU in ages, but I've seen no sign of them at Target or Wal-Mart. Not that I'm necessarily going to buy them, it's just that I haven't seen them yet. Just like the Giant-Man Series.
With the release of Kang, I believe all the major Marvel bad guys are out? Other than Mephisto of course...am i correct?
Series 1 was only released at Meijer and TRU. Series 2 has supposedly been ordered by Target but that remains to be seen.
I tried to think of a character that we were severelly lacking but I really can't think of any other MAJOR villains. Personally I'd like to see a Blob, Wizard, White Queen (old Brotherhood style), a modern Baron Zemo, Crimson Dynamo, Gladiator (Shi'ar guy), Drax, Mole Man, and modern Taskmaster. But I wouldn't consider any of them major, as in an arch-enemy.
I had a chance today to get 3 of the Giant Man series ML for around $13 at a swapmeet but I decided to put it off cuz there's a chance for me to see it at my local WM in the next 2 weeks.. at least that's what they told me when I call them. I still need two of the ML Face Off so it's far from over for me in this hunt. I hope I'll be able to see them in store before I resort to paying so much for them. Still need to get a few more Cybertron toys.. my poor wallet.
Face Off should be hitting all stores sooner or later, maybe sometime next month? sure hope so, i still need Normal Hulk vs Testi Leader.
There are probably a few villains that haven't been released yet. It just depends on what you consider "major".
Okay, you guys are going to love this one. I was at the local Wal-Mart, again, for one last shot at trying to find the Giant-Man Series before I resort to buying them online. If you've read my previous posts, you'll know that the only figure from the set I've seen at other WM's is AoA Sabretooth (who I bought the first time I saw him), while the exclusives had yet to show up at the local store. Well guess what? They finally arrived at the Danbury Wal-Mart. How do I know? Because someone beat me to the punch, leaving ONE SABRETOOTH SITTING ON THE PEG. Can somebody whose Wal-Mart(s) still have these figures in stock help me out? Please?
Good luck with that. What's happend to you seems to be happening EVERYWHERE. They only last a few hours at most almost everywhere they show up.
Same around here*though we did have a Havok a Ant-Man and a banana Sentry left but i bet they went pretty quick. 2x Sabretooth per case = BIG MISTAKE on TB's part.
It could be any figure though, Sabretooth just happens to be the one that no one needs after buying the rest. In any case, even those sell after a couple of days. They're just there to mock everyone looking for them.
Picked up Super-Strength Spider-Man this afternoon. He's pretty nifty. Works pretty well as a main display Spidey. He's a good height compared to the other ML. I might however switch some parts out with my other spidermen, like his hands and maybe his head. And I finally bought Deadpool off ebay. He's one of the few Marvel Legends I've wanted for a long time.
Found this bad mofo at TRU today. Sucks that the others were not there. Still surprised I saw the Variant Iron Man and not the regular version.
