Wow. I've seen some of the "old-style" carded Spidey figures resurface at a few Targets. Of course, it's mainly been Carnage and Ultimate Lizard. But damn, Daredevil? Nice find.

Wouldn't you know that the one ML Abomination I finally found at my local TRU had horrible paint apps to his face and gums. At least I finally found a Wal-Mart in my area that had the Giant-Man series in stock. Still haven't seen Thor though.

 

Are you sure it's not a variant Abomination that you bought? That one has markings all over his face. May want to check again.

 

I am so glad I got that along with other Classic Spidey figures when the ystarted out. I got Black Costume, regular, DD, Scarlet Spidey, Spidey 2099, and first appearance. I think those figures are 100% better than anything out now.

 

And here I thought you were gonna show us you had the yellow one. Now that one's hard to find.  

 

Did they ever paint the red D's on the yellow DD's chest? Read they planned on it but never did.

Damn I wish I'd snagged one went the price dipped to about $20 after they turned up in droves in the Phillipines. You'd think they'd have at least cranked out that second SMC DD in the yellow costume by now dammit! (Face-Off DD is kinda meh..I'd rather see the other one reused)

Guess they did. Now im wondering if they painted D's on them all. If not then there goes another variant.

There probably is, but as a proto.

 

I'm sure it wasn't the variant. This one had brown paint all splashed up on the side of the face as well as the paint they used on gums all on his teeth. Just plain sloppy paint apps, no variant here.

 

I've still got my 2nd wave (was it 2nd? So long ago) Spidey Classics Daredevil, in red.

I did see the newer one at some point, and even though I wanted a cross bicep DD I passed because of the curved billy club.

Its weird how the smallest thing can make or break a purchase.

 

I've still got the SMC Yellow DD sealed and he indeed has the red D on his chest.

In other news, I've got ML13, and the Cap and Hulk face-off variant packs on the way to me now. Can't wait, now I just need the variant DD face-off pack.

 

WooHoo! Almost finished Onslaught, just looking for a Goblin and a Blackheart. Also, I wasn't expecting Onslaught to have been the best BAF but he sure is awfully unimpressive so far. No Excietment like when I was getting Sentinel Pieces.

 

I dunno what it is about this area, but the new stuff hasn't shown yet. I see the space for things, but still nothing.

 

Yeah, I regret not picking up the yellow DD too! He was reasonably easy to find around US$18 in my country too. Now he's impossible to find! Grrr...oh well, the only thing I can comfort myself is that the face sculpt isn't that good.

Those are pretty cool. Dragon Man's head is pretty large. Hope that invisible Invisible Woman is'nt impossible to find.

 

FINALLY A KANG! Now I will be able to reinact the worst comic idea of all time, Timeslide! Just need to modify an Iron man into the Teen Tony suit and I'll be all set.

But really, I'm so glad they have a Kang. He's such a great villain and his only figure so far was Iron Lad. I mean, come on! No Kang but we have X-23 and Blackheart.

 

I'd rather have Blackheart*MvC2 booyah, and GR comics* and X-23*female Wolverine thats kinda cute* but thats just me  

 

Sweetness, just found some ML on Ebay that I think I might buy this weekend(get paid tomorrow wOOt). I'm looking to buy Deadpool and the variants for the DD/Kingpin and Cap/Strucker two packs. Heh, the only question now is do I want to open them when I get them, or keep them packaged, because I want to normal version as well(especially the Captain America/Red Skull one )
