That's not the problem though. The problem is (from the 2nd post in this thread) These aren't final. Hell, this wave may end up not having any of these characters in it if things change. It's more of a "We don't want you guys getting your hopes up that this is exactly what's coming out"

Hmm. I guess. Seems like if one of the ones that the guy picked up doesn't make the final cut, then he's sitting on an even bigger gold nugget. Say for example, Sentry doesn't make at least this first ML WM wave...think about how much he'd go for on Ebay at that point.

Random rambling #227: I know BAF stands for "build-a-figure." But I first saw/heard the acronym before I knew what it meant and gave it my own definition - "big-ass figure." Now, despite knowing what it really stands for, I still read BAF as big-ass figure.

Yeah, probably. Kinda like how Scarlet Witch was going for rediculous prices when the rumor that she was cancelled was floating around.

You know, on one hand, I'm happy that ToyBiz is finally giving us ML Havok. But on the other hand, I still wish they would have made him in his X-Factor costume.

The whole wave looks pretty good. I'm not terribly happy with the look of AoA Sabertooth and Weapon X, but I still want them.

But what the hell is up with the bald Logan variant? Did he actually appear with no hair at some point in AoA, are they trying to highlight the different expression (hence the lack of hair), or is it just some out-of-left-field excuse to make another Wolverine variant variant?

I think they learned their lesson with Namor. The majority of fans want the most popular costume. In this case, Havok's original is the most popular.

He had his face pretty much burned off at the end of AOA

Based on the picture of the back of the package, this Thor looks quite a bit different. He's got a larger crotch area, with all 6 of the circles on the front of his costume. The legs look thicker. The cape is shaped differently. And the hair is shaped differently. It's a bit difficult to see any other details, but I think it's a new mold.

I'm glad we're getting that version of Havok, the X-factor one wasn't that great. It was very dull and wasn't much different than a lot of X-Men costumes of that era. I'm not a fan of the whole "team uniform" look, I like each character to have a distinguishing costume. It'd be cool if he had a Mutant X variant or one like the one he showed up with recently since they're both very close to the classic one.

Anyway, the new figures look great, and even after 13 waves this series is still kicking ass. I for one can't wait for them to come out, although my wallet probably can.

While I would normally agree with that statement, there's just something about a display of figures that have matching uniforms. Like the below:

Or like the FF.

I think we shouldn't panic that the 10th piece comes with a varient Wolverine because based on observations from the last 2 waves, the ML varients were easier to find.

What cheeses me of is that such a wonderful line-up is a "Walmart exclusive"!!!Leaving me with no choice but to purchase this from evil bay! Why Toy Biz, why!?!? Don't they know that they are ML collectors in other countries too!?!? Can anyone PM a couple of decent online stores that have them on pre-orders?
