Finally found the Vintage carded Wolverine. Is the color difference from the BAF Juggernaut wave and the unmasked head the big draw for him being so popular?

I'm more hyped for the 90s Wolverine coming in the next X-Men wave. I'd just love to have a complete 90s Blue/Gold X-Men team here. Yes, even a 90s Jubilee please.

How many versions of Deadpool does Hasbro think we need? Also, I thought Warpath was supposed to be part of teh wave?

Ouch, and a baf piece. Way to stick it to the fans, Hasbro.

Wonder how much he'll drive the sdcc price down.

It's a good choice though for the many many that could not get him. But adding a baf piece is a shit move.

I was going to say probably not, but... *looks at @Dao post* I'm guessing 90's Pool (who's two per case) will be missing a baf piece as Sasquatch only splits into six pieces.

Yeah, I'm a Deadpool fan too, but he's just as overhyped and oversaturated as Wolverine and Iron Man in the current market.

Indeed. Was hoping for the Sentry body with new tooling myself. The Colossus/Deathshead body is a bit too big. Unless Warpath is supposed to be around 7' or so.

Unfortunately he got the baf head. Also, those are some damned weird guns color wise.

That, and he was hard to find when that wave was out. At least he was on my area.

Warpath was never more than an unconfirmed rumor unfortunately.

I think it was that it had the arm hair painted on.

    Dick move for sure wtf
It's hilarious to me that Hasbro nerf'd this release with NERF guns but the BAF part inclusion is annoying. Gee thanks hasbruhhh

As for Wolverine.....I actually think since Disney had a plan to block x merchandise, Wolverine is unsaturated. It was only months leading to the Disney-Fox buyout that Hasbro and marvel seemed to lessen the restriction on Wolverine. Thank goodness because the 6" and 12" Legends Wolverines from last year are excellent. The 6" vintage wave one has the colors I associate more with the brown costume(2016 one was too dark). The 12" is just a damn great figure all around, best Wolverine Hasbro has made to date.
For me it's the brighter colors, optional swappable head and recloseable/useable blister card.

So I got to thinking which figures repainted would make for a good 2nd wave of vintage card homage figures. This, after thinking of the early Toy Biz figures through the mid-90's before they went repaint variant crazy.
    • Venom(2015) with Mcfarlane grin head
    • Walgreens Human Torch, darker with black texture lines painted on(the way he used to be inked in the books)
    • Cyclops(domehead X-Factor costume)
    • Archangel(with optional unmasked head)
    • Annihilus
    • US Agent(2016 Cap buck)
    That's the BAF Sasquatch head

I will still buy it definitely, but that X Force Deadpool will really be tough to find, indeed.

New X-Men wave is supposed to be in the Fall, so I'm going to guess it will show up in July/August.
