I was wrong about the Wal-mart...the one off Monterey is a ways away from me and the one I was thinking of is a ways N. of the one you went to (confused?). I went to the one with all the cool Mexican items today and found......Cyb.Soundwave (with Laserbeak stolen, so it's still there) and.....(drum roll please)......Prof. X and Dr. Strange by the ton! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Today I called up the toy dept. managers for the two walmarts nearest to me. One said they should be arriving any day now, and the other was totally clueless to this line's existance.

I preordered the complete Mojo wave from Amazon.com sans maskless Baron Zemo (I thought he can't remove it) and with both Onslaught and Giant Man BAF demanding my attention I fear my wallet's not gonna have much left for food and other necessities. I'll see if salt & pepper will liven up the taste of those plastics.  

 

Got all of the Sentinel Series today for 50 bucks. Is that a good deal?

Wow, those pics of Onslaught don't inspire me at all. He is really small. His hands are way huge. His goat legs liiks like crap. I think I'll be passing completely on this line.

 

I just went to Wal-Mart in search of the exclusives. Ugh, it was terrible.

First of all, nothing new. No Giant Man Series. No two-packs. No box sets.

As for regular MLs, They had leftovers from Legendary Riders (about 4-6 Things) and some really early production Apocalypse figures. How could I tell? Aside from the blue Apoc BAF parts, Maestro did NOT have the arm cable.

Enjoy. It's too bad that some of the figures (Deathstrike, Abomination, midget Onslaught with screwy arms) didn't come out so good, whereas others (Green Goblin, Pyro, Loki) look outstanding.

I saw the review too and to me, the outstanding piece is the Abomination.

The Ghoblin could have been better...its sculpt although good, loses to the Marvel Select version and what's up with the pumpkin bomb glued to its hand?

 

Oh I would kill for some pics of GR, Punisher and Brown Costume Wolvie vs. Black Heart ala Hearts of Darkness... I loved that one shot!

Yep, along with the other 8 figs. in that exclusive wave (+ 2 variants). My comic shop did get them, but he always wants at least double the price.
