I wish I had monies. I really really really want to get all the figures to make that Giant Man. The Thor figure there is great looking, especially when compared to the version that came out before, particularly concerning the face sculpt.
The new Thor and Cap America from 2Pack will allow me to complete my Avengers. The BAF Giant Man will be a godsend as well since I missed out on Goliath and have no intention of spending $30 or more to get one. Now if only Toybiz can allow me to send in my Scarlet Witch to exchange for one that doesn't have paint chips on her face. That figure is hideous which is a shame since I love the character so much.
You got Apocalypse first, now this...I've come to the conclusion that your Walmart kicks the ass of every other Walmart in the country.
Especially compared to the prototype! She's one of the worst examples of the final product coming nowhere near the quality of the proto that I've ever seen.
Also check the aisles.. I went into the one that had the display the other day. the display was gone, but all the figures were moved to the other MLs..
Nope, the Wal-mart off Ranch Dr. near the intersection of 237 and 880. Where's the one you're thinking of? I can't locate a Monterey in Milpitas...did you mean Montague Expwy? I'm not sure putting Prof. X on clearance would work since, in all honesty, he's a pretty lame fig. I got him second-hand, kept the Galactus part, and sent him on to a new home immediately. Then again, I'm simply a rabid Avengers fan (and some of the BAFs).
Stopped at 3 wal-marts. 2 of them had the Boxed sets, the Masterpiece figures, but not a single Giant man wave figure. The third one didn't have anything. Bah. I want Sentry and the Variant Sentry. That's it.
The one off Monterey Rd, where if you continue down Monterey it becomes First St. in downtown San Jose. Pretty sure it's off the 82...not sure. I just take local roads to get there since it's nearby. Don't bother, though. The newest figure they have there is Alt-Skids, and, like, C-Thunderblast.
Ah, that one! The one I refer to, somewhat in a negative way, as Mexi-Mart or Little Mexico. I know that sounds bad, but never have I been to a Wal-mart more geared towards and frequented by the Mexican community. That place is always so crowded that I tend to stay away from it, although they have some neat Mexican foods there that are a decent price. Last time I was there I picked up this badass Mexican apple soda. Also, thanks for the update. I was actually thinking about braving the crowd tonight. Where are you located? I'm actually down the street a ways from that Wal-mart.
Hell closest ones here I still find Galactus (though I plan on finishing him) and the Sentinel Wave, my lone Target had the Apac wave now it's just Riders (I got the last Deathlok, looking for Hulk then I can finish Galactus but also in the midst of moving) I'm iffy on finishing the Giant Man series cause only a few characters I really want.

I put the VS packs back on layaway and bought the other 5 Giant man figures i had on layaway. Pictures later tonight of: Captain Britain AoA Weapon X AoA Weapon X Variant AoA Sabertooth Sentry Just need a Havok and Warbird.. They contain the Hips and other upper left leg. I got Giant Man's: Right Leg Right Foot Upper Body Both Arms and hand Left foot.
Yay! Time to have extreme difficulty finding these figures since the Wal-Mart here in Savannah is asstastic. They still had Punishers and Naked Wolverines when Galactus was widespread, and finally got Galactus when APOCALYPSE started showing up. Still, I'm definitely getting Shadowcat, Weapon X, AoA Sabretooth, and Havok (despite his ugly expression). I'm sorely tempted by some of the others, like Thor and Captain Britain, and Cap VS Red Skull just to finally have Cappy. Question: Is the Iron Man VS Mandarin two-pack coming out later, like with the 1st Appearance Wolvie VS Sabretooth? And while we're on the subject of MLs, why is Marvel advertising the Mojo Series in their comics when the Onslaught Series hasn't shown up yet? Did something happen, like ToyBiz delayed the figures because of the decision to include the Onslaught BAF?
Right now? At UC Santa Cruz. When I'm back in San Jose, though, that WM is a 25 minute drive from my house. But, since it's nearby a friend's house, it's all good.
Sweet, a fellow Banana Slug!! I'm class of 2001 from Merrill College. Is that University full of Parking Lots now? I remember when I was there they were building a bunch of them. Is the Bay Tree Building finished? Back then the whole area was still being remodeled ever since I began back in 1997. As for Marvel Legends, no new series around where I'm at. Does anyone know the case breakdown?
*nod* and i'm looking forward to Modular bs Madarin and FA Wolvy vs FA Sabretooth ALOT. Modular is the ML i've been waiting for since i got into MLs.
