I feel like they've always been pretty good with their PR stuff though. I don't remember ever having to wait longer than expected to see them in my LCS. Maybe it's just a fluke though.

 

I just realized the reason why the fins won't go in for him is because there's a left and right fin, and he's trying to put them into eachothers' socket.

I really admire his passion for being a toy reviewer, but for fuck's sake his reviews are literally the God damn worst.

I've noticed Leatherback has appeared on the back of the packaging again I've waited to see a release schedule\preorder for him but so far there has been nothing.

Does anyone know if Leatherback is coming back out or not?

Having Scunner now, I think he's the weakest of kaijus made of this body design. So NECA bothered to retool Knifehead's body to make Trespasser and Axe-Head and made them great as they are, but I'm not digging Scunner. I think these shoulder pads and the fake chest padding are hurting the figure for me. Not only are they soft rubber parts that could tear apart as time goes on, but the tampograph on them is shoddy and flacks off rather easily. The shoulder pads are also restricts the shoulder movement and I can't leave them raised up for long or the pads will warp making them look off later on.

 

Haven't even touched this figure in months. Went downstairs and just found it like this. Didn't even fall over or nothing, the arm just fell off with Knifehead still standing.

Hatred.

The toys are all shit. I've seen more than enough examples in this thread alone to justify no future purchases. I bought a Gipsy 2.0 and Tacit Ronin months ago. Ronin broke 10 minutes out the package when, while standing, his ankle snapped and he fell over. Gipsy was fine but just from handling these toys, I could feel it in the material used that these were not good at all. Gipsy has since been kept in it's box, never to be displayed. ronin got returned for a refund. I refuse to buy any more. Waiting until Bandai or Kaiyodo makes PR stuff. Between PR and the poor quality alien warriors, NECA really needs to step their QC and product durability game WAY up. At least their Godzilla toys seem fine.

And NECA has the fucking balls to retweet someone trashing Max Factory for a product that had bad QC, as if to say their shit quality control is perfectly okay because another company put out a product with shit QC (Despite Max Factory having pretty standard QC over most of their products, unlike NECA where I see more pictures of broken shit than not broken shit from them)

I ordered 18" Striker Eureka and Otachi last night. Should be here before Friday. Knowing NECA Striker will have such bad QC that it'll will fucking go nuclear and killl me like in the movie.

I'm seriously considering removing the extra pads from my Scunner and recolor the lines on parts underneath them. What paint works best with the plastic he's made of?

My kids were just holding with the 7 inch cherno alpha and his freaking head came off! I looked inside the socket and nothing was broken - the glue or whatever method they used wasn't strong enough.

Anyway, once I get the Rambo with 'bow and arrow' and a Neca 'movie' endoskeleton, I won't be buying any more of Neca stuff. They're as bad as the 'old' DC Direct figures.

 

Because they'd just fucking ignore it.

Like Tyrannosaur said, they retweeted a tweet about Max Factory's QC, they're clearly delusional.

EDIT: But I did anyway. Hard not to after the dozens of ego-stroking retweets of Neca "killing it" this year. More like "dismembering it." Drop in the ocean but whatever made me feel a bit better.

 

Oh, so they're really that bad. Man, if I had access to other forums, I would post the picture like at Fwoosh etc. My confidence with Neca is at a low.
