Couldn't even get a damn Battle Beast at C2E2. I went the booth as soon as I could and they were all gone .

I'm not too upset as I'm not a fan of Minimates, but it would've been nice to get one.

Wish I had known about the red one...did they give that out at the panel or at the booth? The only one I got was the Retailer Summit grey version.

They showed a slide show but we couldn't take photos. They showed the main characters from the comic, like a large walrus, and then a few that will come out later like a big four armed insect guy, though he looked very much like a minimate, and then other better ones with lots of sculpted parts like a snake and a four legged spider like creature, and they all had lots of weapons that could connect like spears and things, didn't see any guns, much more tribal, less techy.

Those designs sound BEAST.

shame they won't be doing new versions of old characters but I think this line should be really fun, and its amazing what they can do with the minimate body

I do like some of these designs though. Not sure if I want to start collecting these too though, but I'll likely throw one or two in with each BBTS order.

The detail on these looks incredible, I have to admit.

Beast Saga... Battle Beasts... damn... more stuff to collect. Actually, I showed the Takara ones to my daughter and she's really excited about them too... she wants to play the game. Heh.

holy crap. ive never placed so many pre orders at once before. one for all the sea animals, the penguin/bird and one for the random choice. awesome stuff, reminds me of being a kid and being crazy about battle beasts
