I must own all of these including the playset even though I can't imagine a single place in my house that I would have room for it.

You guys will be surprised when you see the modern Splinter. He is not what you would expect. He looks very samurai-ish. His fur is red white and black almost looks like war paint.

Yeah, I saw the pic of the toy in the video and I'm just not liking the design. I just prefer Splinter to be one color is all.

The pic of the playhouse has shredder and splinter and even april in it. You might want to look at that since you can't see the video.

I liked the 2003 series, but when I saw the toyline my reaction was pretty much: "Oh hey, the turtles are back...That's neat." But never actually bought any.
These on the other hand may have me hooked. I don't know what it is, but the character design for the new main line turtles just clicks with me for some reason.

The actual figures don't look to have that nice black wash that the promo shots do, but they are far from looking bad:

Mike sadly does not have actual chain for his nunchaku.

Not really surprising, but a bummer.

    Splinter is...Different.

I don't hate it, but it'll take some getting use to.

    The Foot.

Shreader's face looks a little plan. Probably should have given him some pupils.

Krang looks crazy, but in a good way.

April is...kinda doofy looking, honestly...Eh well.

Splinter and April's designs really don't work for me and to a much lesser extend the same goes for shredder, but the main turtles look good enough that I don't care.

I am disappointed in Mikey's weapon change though, including chains couldn't be that hard to do.

Edit: ooh, another random mutant animal I want to see in the new show toyline, Man Ray

"Modern" April looks odd to me. I hope the "Classic" April (if they make her) is much better.

These Classics are going to be Retail right? I haven't been able to get an MotU Classics figures because they are online exclusives and expensive as hell, but those four Classics Turtles... They are a must get.

I too share the hopes that they will include The Shredder, Krang, Rocksteady, Bebop, April and Foot Soldiers in that Classics form too.

These are the Turtles I've wanted to have forever, super articulated and matching the look of the original Playmates Toys I used to own.

That playset thing just kicks the shell out of my old Sewer Lair Playset. Just imagine what the Technodrome is going to look like. (They are bringing that back, right?)

Not quite that nice copper sheen in the pormo pic. But I did learn something interesting in the video; apparently their new van is a modified subway car. That's kind of cool.
