Well to be fair, Dark Armed Dragon WAS a tin variant card not too long ago. He just wasn't featured on the cover art, which I believe was claimed by that Draco-Knight Equeste monster.

At any rate, the next time Stardust Dragon gets reprinted, I hope it's with a cane and a fur coat. It'd be quite fitting.

Yeah, but that's long after Dark Armed Dragon decks came and went. Stardust Dragon's tin was released practically alongside the booster, of which it was the cover card and an Ultra Rare.

Has anybody ever created their own cards for the game?

I think I did when I was a lot younger.

Personally, I kinda like the Synchro Mechanic, but it's usually a stroke of luck for me to do. And usually I can do it, my best friend kicks my ass. And my primary deck is Elemental Hero-dominated, with some Charmers and Ice Barrier monsters thrown in for good use. Need to find a Fusion Gate for that deck, though, since I only have one Polymerization card, and Fusion Gate is a crap-load more useful than Polymerization.

Now that I think about, yeah I guess I do. I just love how the deck runs, switching positions completely changes your strategy.

Not to mention that if built correctly, you can Synchro up the wazoo.

I got back into the game! =D
I'm using the "Watt" cards. Fun little buggers.
I also hate synchros, but use them anyway (Kinda necessary).
And Fishborg Blaster can eat a dick :p

My best friend also has a Watt deck, and I really hate it, mostly because of Wattcastle, and the fact that he has cards that make Level 4s and up useless. Unfortunately for me, I use a lot of Level 4s and up Monsters.

lol. Since WattHydra is kinda central to my deck, I can't really gravity bind.
But I will consider it now ^^
(I love Wattcastle, by the way. It's an annoying card =P)

If you're being screwed over by a watt deck (don't have half a clue what they are, since I dropped the game ages ago), it seems like you're just being screwed over by a newer version of old Stall/Control decks. In that case, both DDT and Counter Fairy (or just running Jinzo/Spell Canceller/Man-Eater Bug) should fix it, no?

EDIT: yep, lockdown style decks. You can smash it with basically any card-destroying deck. Hell, if you manage a Gyzarus summoning you can wipe two cards straight off, while a Return deck will screw over Wattpheasant. Meh, I think, given the wiki page (in all it's reliable glory, lol), it wouldn't be too difficult to kill one of those decks. Just make sure to run a lot of destruction based cards, a few Trap Jammers and whatnot. Better yet, whats that card that nulls Effect Monsters?

Better yet, the one card that screws over all but one Watt monster, King Tiger Wanghu. I run 3 in one of my decks, which completely screw over all weak effect-based monsters.

Yeah, King Tiger Wanghu's pretty amazing in every sense of the word right now. :)

I mean if anything, it's really only bad against Glads, Blackwings & Gravekeepers, the latter of which is really the only commonly played one right now. Might go back to maining them in my Geartown/Magical Hats deck if I decide to rebuild that deck. I just ran it for about 3 months straight & really needed a change, especially since people in my area got wise as to how it works after having to play against it for so long.

Gravekeepers seem to be one of the few recurring deck types. They seem to just pop up every few years, reviving themselves i suppose.

Gladiators and Blackwings...i think Gladiators are now outdated, as they needed too many specific cards. That's why Gyzarus Abuse was the main successful one, as it only needed two cards. Sadly, that was nerfed after Bestiari was limited. While you can search it easily, only having one was a pain in the ass.

Looking back, I think the Evil Hero concept was pretty solid. I remember Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy and Malicious Edge giving me a pretty solid 2nd turn attack and since I played Ha Des or Necrofear, it was an easy trade-off to get E.Hero Malicious Fiend on the field. Too bad no one would declare an attack once it was on the field...

Hey hey, all this talk about Yu-Gi-Oh gave me the urge to look through my stack and stacks and I managed to find good ol' Kaibaman!
