Haven't seen any of these yet. Anyone feel like posting some in-hand pics of the cycles/Recognizer/figures? They're always better than store website images.

    P-p-p-p-p-p-please? :)

(TIA for the disk pics, ekocher!)

Only have time for one side-by-side:

Clu is just about the same size as a current Star Wars figure, to give you an idea of the size of the Recognizer. FYI, the entire front torso of the figures are molded in whatever color translucent plastic is unique to them (yellow in this case) and painted black except where the light's meant to shine through. The katana is molded in black and painted yellow for the blade.

I saw that today & almost bought it! Didn't realize it lit up like that & now I wish I'd picked it up instead of the diecast version. I also saw an Identity Disc frisbee ring there for $7.99 & probably would've bought it if I hadn't also found Animated Ironhide. They also had a lightcycle racing set that came with 2 diecast lightcycles & some Hot-Wheels-type track. I'm gonna try holding out for the larger action figures (6" I think?) that have light-up faces.

Anyone think that we'll get Daft Punk figures out of this movie somehow? I mean they are only producing the soundtrack and making a cameo in this movie, right? Maybe it's a longshot, but still...

They're a French musical duo. Dress as robots with all lights and stuff when performing. They're pretty good.

that 360 controller is kinda BS with the cord but I can see why its needed (those lights would slaughter the battery life) but I want it anyways along with a light cycle and atleast one figure for it

Apparently Microsoft don't allow third parties to make wireless controllers for the 360, so that's another reason. No idea why really.

I'm very skeptical about movie figures. It's either hit or miss with them. Either they are pretty nice like the Iron Man 2 figures, or they tank like the Avatar and Sped Racer toys.

Yeah I'm excited to see pictures of the figures too. Does anyone know if the Identity Disc is a fully functional frisbee? One of my non-collector friends is an Ultimate Frisbee fan and is extremely curious about it.
