The box takes more room than the lion itself. Just saying. :p

    Hello,
I just bought a masterpiece Voltron off of Ebay and while I was transforming the red lion into arm mode the leg broke at the knee. I was able to fix it with super glue and taking the leg apart. Then will I was tranforming the others I notice that their knee joints started to crack also. Is this a common thing for this set. I am thinking of getting a refund from the seller but I don't want to get another one if it is going to happen again.

^Yes, common issue. Those legs are fragile. I got a cracked one too and that's not the first time I'm reading about that.

Was it the die-cast or plastic one?

The plastic one seems to have solved the issues the diecast one had.

Atom's line about the whole licensing issue made me laugh.

Yeah, surprisingly the plastic version turned out to be the sleeper hit for Toynami. I wished they came out the extras.

I'm also hoping Bandai Japan will release Voltron in it's SOC line. If anyone can do sn amazing rendition of the toys, I know they can...or at least I hope so! :)

I'm interested in how this comes out, but with all that die-cast including a die-cast sword, it could have serious hunched over possibilities, unfortunately.

Its hard to tell with smaller toy makers if the price is high because of the quality, or their smaller-firm, smaller production run costs.

I won't be pre-ordering that's for sure. I'll just have to gamble on still being able to get one after some in-hand reviews come out.

Oh, and the die-cast sword is only a bonus for those who pre-order. Both the pre-order and the regular release will come with a plastic sword.

This figure is/was a dream of mine, so I'll bite. How reliable is this Toy Freakz place? I've never really ever heard of them, or is there somewhere more reliable that has them? If it really comes out April 30th, that'd be great

nice little video with the prototype starting around at the 40min mark. I feel good the developers are serious about this project.

Toy Freakz is the only place to get the preorder with the diecast sword. In the video you linked they guy mentions that before long this item should be available from all the usual suspects, but that's the reg release version without the diecast sword. I'm planning to wait on some reviews. I can live without a Voltron letter opener. :D

I highly doubt Mattel has anything like this in their plans for the immediate future and I can live with taking the chance that the $250 I'll spend for this guy will be worth it. I've been waiting for the day I can finally replace my original Vehicle Voltron for years now.

I e-mailed the shop that yesterday and am still waiting for a reply.
