Here you go. I had a rage issue with V1, V2 isn't perfect but it's easily the best VV you can get your hands on. I think if you love VV it's worth the money.

Miracle Metal Works Voltron Vehicle Force (Ver. 2)

This a good review of V1. V2 improves a lot feel free to PM me if you have questions.

I am wondering about this too. This is only my view, but it seems like a deal would be harder now that Toynami is doing their own EX figure.

I'm really hoping it gets released. It is kind of a let down that we haven't seen our heard any real updates lately. As far as I know the figure should be released soon based on previous updates. Like any 3rd party stuff it could be up to a year late though.

The Miracle Metals Vehicle Voltron is about the same size as the Toynami 30th Anniversary Die Cast. The MM is a hair taller, which is as it should be. So they feel pretty close to in scale.

The Toynami is standing on it's base in that picture so it appears a little taller. It's actually about an inch shorter than VV.

I have the V2 of the MM VV. It's a nice piece. No physical issues. Paint, while not Bandai quality is acceptable. No major flaws. It's nicely articulated, although I would never subject it to much play or to repeated transformations. Actually getting the thing apart, back to vehicle mode can be challenging and frustrating. Especially if you don't remember where some of the hidden locks are. It's not perfect. But it's the best currently out there. The Mad Toys King of Beasts stylized GoLion also scales well with these two. Really my only complaint with the MM VV is that some clueless engineering fiend thought that putting real free rolling wheels on the Feet Trucks was a good idea. This results in him needing to be carefully positioned or better yet wheel chocks applied. He is a top heavy robot as it is. The wheels make him a shelf diving risk unless you take some precautions. (And I have yet to find a big enough stand for this guy.)

Sadly the only candidate out there for the third Voltron is Evolution Toy's Albegas. Which is about half the scale of the big die casts and is grossly over priced for what it is. Mainly plastic with metal magnetic ball joints.

If you want to add the "fourth" Voltron candidate to your collection. (Funny story, Golion was not supposed to be Voltron. WEP thought they had bought Daltanious. Just a miscommunication on a long distance phone call had the wrong tapes getting tossed in the box to be shipped. Literally "What show did you want?" "The one with the Lion!" "Okie Dokie!" and the rest is history.) Anyway if you want to add a nice Daltanious to your display, wait until September, or start keeping your eye out for discount offerings. Bandai will be re-releasing their wonderful Soul of Chogokin Daltanious then.

Holy cow that is a great Daltanious story. Thanks for sharing. I hope they re-release God Mars.

Yup! I can confirm that! I think I posted that ages ago on either this board or another! LOL!

Daltanious was originally meant to be 'Voltron' but somehow Go-Lion was sent to the US studio instead. Up till today, my buddies and I wondered what would have happened if things turned out the way they intended.

The original Daltanious was quite popular in Asia too (or at least that was the impression I got). I even have the vintage 'lion' - which was surprisingly made in Singapore!:)

*Fun-fact: The original Daltanious chogokin set was sold as a set and sold separately (components-wise).

This is both excellent and terrible news for me. I wanted a Daltanious but pretty much gave up on it and took that ~$200 off my plate already. Any idea when this is being released again? If it is far enough down the line, I may be able to afford it again.

And yeah, ever since I heard the news about Daltanious being the intended original Voltron, it made the figure even more interesting to add to my collection. I never liked the 5 Lion Voltron ( or any of the others) much and part of it was how funny all the lions always looked in toy form.

If you got Daltanious for ~$200 than you didn't lose out. That is right around MSRP for the figure. You wouldn't have saved any by waiting for the re-release. It's the current offering price of $350 that you get to avoid with the new release.

What I meant is that I don't have it and gave up on spending the ~$200 I would have on it. Now that it is being re-released, I just may have to bite since it should be a bit lower than $200. Just have to hope I can get the funds together in time.

Its a beautiful piece dude...the sad thing is that I have it but I haven't got the time to open it and fiddle with it after all these years. I keep getting distracted by ML, SW and TFs! LOL!

Saw the Netflix promo. Ugh. Not thrilled at all. Shiro is piloting the Black Lion, Keith the Red and Lance the Blue. Nope. Wrong-o.

Also, I hate the wings on the back of Black Lion. They couldn't make them smaller or fold away?

And lastly all that neon blue lighting. Fugly as hell. Ugh. Terribad.

I'll still watch it because the trailer had me stoked and the animation is ace. But I won't enjoy it!

Because the Princess is going to ultimately lead the team and pilot Black Lion?

It won't be cheaper than $200 USD unless you get really lucky. MSRP for the new release is somewhere between $200-$240. It's just the aftermarket price is well northwards of $350. I actually saw one of the previous release in the Japan store at Epcot for $400 in October.

Wouldn't it make sense that the characters for once start out in the Lions that match their uniform colors, and don't get shuffled up until somebody dies? The Sven dude in this one has a bit of the whiff of an Obi Wan about him if you get my drift.

Overall it's... not bad? It reminds me a bit of the early trailers for Nikolodeans TMNT reboot and DisneyXD's Star Wars Rebels. Both of those turned out better than okay. Yeah it has that snarky kid thing going on, but at least some of it seems almost clever. So I have some hope.

Also did the early scenes of the training school and cadet class have anybody wondering if we might be seeing an Earth based Vehicle Voltron show up at some point? Something about that large grouping of pilots and the uniforms had me thinking Dairugger XV.
