You can pop the wings off. I made a connector to form the shield. Check a few pages back. IMG_20170118_175727029-01.jpeg

I've stopped buying two of each (mainly w/ MPs) due to space and $$$. I did buy 2 of GX-31V (Voltes V) since I grew up watching it as a kid. I'm soooo tempted to pick up another SoC Voltron to keep sealed (don't flame me!). My question is, what's the likeliness of Voltron dropping in price in a few months? Or selling out? And will we see a reissue down the road? I know it's like asking someone to looking into a crystal ball but I'd like to hear people's opinion. Thanks!

I saw that Prime guy found a way to print your shield off in different materials a few pages back- did he manage to give you a link or anything?

Beautiful! But I have no access to any 3D printer. Do you have a way to sell one?

I almost feel like the show is trolling people/the toymakers, by having season two use the wing-shield all the time.

Good news is I don't think we need worry about re-issues for awhile. That only happens if it gets discontinued and brought back. I think Voltron will get 1-2 additional factory orders to fill out demand for its first release. Bad news is I don't expect to see this guy being discounted much. Not unless they grossly over produce it. And even then, maybe at the year end HLJ or BBTS sales. You will find some decent savings if you shop around, but nothing to extreme I would think. some of them, such as Voltes, never really dropped in price or hit discount sales. I think Voltron and Daizyujin will be two of those.

Thanks for the insight. I'll hold off towards the end of the year and see if I can snag another one for a cheaper price.

Hey guys! Good news: I found complete assortments of both Legendary Voltron and MMPR Movie toylines at my Walmart today.

Here's the thing: My Walmart has never had good selection, I've had to order 98% of my TF's and other figures online. I've called into my Walmart before, asking about new figures that should be in stock, and they've said no- in fact, there was a time I called them, and the lady said, "This Walmart is basically a dumping ground for all the stuff that fails to sell at all the surrounding Walmarts- so we pretty much get all the garbage."- and once she told me that: Everything made sense.

So that's how I've come to monitor the overall availability range of the products- any time something like these products pops up at my Walmart: That tells me the products have hit the backwoods hick-ass Walmarts. If mine has it, I'm guessing the rest have it too. So they shouldn't be hard to find at this point- good luck hunting. ^_^

Always got the internet- heck, stores are shutting down all over because the online stores are getting all the business.

No, I don't really. Unless I want to pay way more than I should.

More like online stores getting all of the business because the chains can't be bothered. Don't let them play the victim or we'll end up with a national VAT to appease them.

BBTS has them- I mean, they're selling them for 10 bucks more- and I guess, if you don't want to spend 10 bucks more, if 10 bucks more really stings that bad (and I'm not talking just about you- I'm referring to all collectors): then I guess, yeah- you'll just have to wait.

I mean, it's kind of like justifying buying the GX-71 Voltron: If you've already got 300-400 bucks to burn, spending another 10 bucks to get the LD lions shouldn't hurt that bad- IMO.

Unless you don't have money to buy any of it through online stores- then yeah, I guess you'll just have to wait.

Well, to get the Blue Lion from Amazon.com, which has it for the normal retail price of $20, it'd cost me $45 Canadian. I'm not paying 225% of US retail.

from BBTS, Shipping is $37 US. Which is $50 Canadian, bringing the total to $215 Candian not counting duty/import fees which would be at least $40-50. Assuming the best, that's $255.

So, no, import is not an option. T_T
