Nendoroid is a brand of small plastic figures, created by the Japanese Good Smile Company. http://www.goodsmile.info/year/gsc/e...all/all/1.html
Nendoroid figures are usually replicas of an anime or manga character and are commonly used as collectors items or toys. They are roughly 10*cm (4*in) in height,
depending on the character they were made to look like. Normally they are made in a chibi or super deformed style, with a large head and smaller body to make them look cute.
Their faces and body parts are movable and interchangeable, giving them a range of different expressions, postures and items to hold.
Nendoroid figures have been made based on characters from anime and manga series like Kannagi, Lucky Star, Death Note, Haruhi Suzumiya, Fate/stay night,
as well as characters from the synthesizer software Vocaloid
here are some examples... Nendoroid Miku Hatsune  Nendoroid Yoko from "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan"  Nendoroid Drossel  (She has battery powered Light-Up eyes)(I want  )  Nendoroid Nozomu Itoshiki From "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei"

I just recently got this one...  Nendoroid Raspberyl from the PS3 game "Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice"
and I love it
has anyone else seen/bought these kind of figurines?

Collection Count: about 360+/- | My mom has recently started collecting the Nendoroid Petit line and are buying them by the case when they're released, and I always get the doubles Really charming things. So far I have both variants of Minami from Lucky Star and the flying Ryuk from Death note. Looking forward to what I'll get from the Vocaloid box, haha   |

Collection Count: about 360+/- | Yup, she watches anime, reads manga and collects nendoroids She's especially fond of Lucky Star and Disgaea. Though I think the collecting part may have been thanks to my influence once I started buying Figma. Though one of her "grails" is the chogokin USB Tachikoma. She's been drooling over mine ever since I got it.

her accessories include - her book/weapon (which can open) a Drumstick(and a hand to hold it),
a pair of Glasses and two alternate faces/two alternate arms.
she is awesome...i hope they make more Disgaea Nendoroid's(hell...even Figma's) in the future!
