I'm that guy although I got it from NY and paid 43200 yen or $397 USD shipped. Why anyone would buy it at BBTS is beyond me.
Not bad! I'll bet if you painted the hair black it'd be a pretty good likeness of him! As it is, this is more like bishounen Steve Rogers, haha. Mine's still en route, and it's only just now sinking in that there's no alternate faces. This is a really bare-bones release. I'm pretty sure that next year will see another release of this mold, probably with multiple accessories, since he reportedly has a much bigger role in Avengers 4. And, for the hell of it, I'm calling "Infinity Crusade" as the movie's title.
I got mine through Nippon Yasan. Who did you get yours from? *edit* Just opened them, and they're real nice. Decent face sculpt on the Capt. Though I wish they would have painted the "holes" in his suit to reflect what he was wearing underneath (supposed to be his older suit?) but that's alright. I guess they forgot about painting the battle damage. Spidey is pretty fun to mess with. I wish I would have gotten those stands they just released. Hope they're still available at the end of the week.
That’s been a debate I’ve been having with myself lately too: should I even be buying characters like Cap and Iron Man when they’ll have new figures next year? I have the Hot Toys Cap on preorder, but if he shaves and gets an all new look for his final movie, that’s what I want (don’t have enough money to get multiple HT versions of characters). All first world problems, I know, but it’s all just trying to figure out the best way to spend the allotted money
