Do they even have a set amount or do they make to order? Either way, it seems they simply pulled the listing after 24 hours.

They haven't even been made yet. They base production off preorder amounts. Things on Bambaland rarely last more than 24 hours from what I understand.

That's exactly what they did. They put pre-orders up for 24 hours. Now they will go into production and make precisely as many as they had orders for, plus however many Sideshow ordered. that way there's no back stock, no unsold merchandise, no lost profits. That's all there is to it.

With essentially two exceptions, they NEVER go more than 24 hours. There have been a couple of "resident sales" where items have been put up to kind of fill the void of the empty store, but they're few and far between. Otherwise, 24 hours is the maximum amount of time any given item is offered for - in some cases, it's much less. Sometimes only half that.
Stupid photobucket keeps tacking on an extra 10k to any image I put on it, dammit.

For those that missed the pre-order(and even those that did pre-order), this might interest you.

Due to popular demand MG REX will be offered through select retailers, the retail version will feature different package design.
Thanks again for the great support of 3A and the MG REX!
I wounder how the boxes will look like. All I can say for sure is that they will be huge. I mean the rail-gun alone is two feet long.

I think I'll pick up the SSC version for sure.

That's great news!

When 3A products are sold through 3rd parties, how do the costs compare to the Bambaland Store? In a perfect world I could get Rex for less from a domestic retailer since I wouldn't have to pay for shipping from Hong Kong.

Sideshow's pre-order is up. Payment plan is quite tempting.

Thanks to a favourable exchange rate and 3AA discount it isn't anywhere near as expensive as I was expecting it to be.

Shipping is always included(98% of the time) for figs bought thru bambaland and are cheaper than buying at retail.

Strange reason to bump the thread, I must admit.

But while it's up, might as well hope someone answers my question. When exactly does this ship? I know it's in August but it will be nice to have an exact idea, as least from previous history from people who deal with 3A. And what shipping method does 3A use? I'm using my P.O. Box and I'm kinda worried they might use a service that doesn't deliver to those.
