Which is it, gray or black? I'm setting up my scene and have both and since I don't need Timber for it, I figure I'll open the regular one and hang the other on the wall. But which is the rare one?

Black one is the rare one. So open up the gray. I know because i've seen wave 5 revision boxes recently and they all have PP Snake Eyes with gray timber
