Following up on yesterday's report on the new Macross items that Tamashii had on display during the Bandai Collector's event, we bring you new images of an item that was put on display today! 1st debuted in Hobby Japan, the DX VF-25F Tornado Pack Messiah prototype was displayed today in battroid mode. The resin parts are a work in progress and what we wonder is how well the wing hinges will stand up to the added weight of the Tornado Pack. Will the hinges be strengthened, possibly with more detents before release? More images of items from yesterday were taken by HobbyStock, in total the Macross items include:- DX VF-25F Tornado Pack Messiah

During Hasbro’s 2009 Fall Investor Day Event held today at their headquarters in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, they announced they will be reintroducing the classic toy line Micronauts.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that J.J. Abrams (Star Trek, "Lost," "Alias") is in talks to produce a movie about the Japanese interchangeable toys Micronauts, which Hasbro just acquired.
First released in Japan in 1974 (under the name Microman) by Takara, the toys were imported to the U.S. by the Mego Corporation in 1976. The line consisted of 3.75-inch tall toys which used a universal, five millimeter inter-connective design. Mego cancelled the Micronauts line in 1980. In 2002, Palisades Toys bought the rights to reproduce Micronauts.

MattyCollector has updated their Facebook page with a look at the Masters of the Universe Classics He-Man Reissue.
As you know, He-Man is coming back to MattyCollector.com on Nov 16th. We made a few minor corrections to the pain ops (specially pushing back on the gloss and the red around his eyes) and corrected the crotch joint.
His packaging also has a new "The Original" burst. This burst will be used throughout the line on all second run figures (i.e. Skeletor in December) to help mint in package collectors tell the first and second release apart.
Mattel also teases fans with a sneak peek at their January MOTU Classics release Adora, click the thumbnail for all the images.

This AT-ST is a complete new sculpt and it comes with one driver and the retail price was $44.99. Make sure you check them out carefully. Out of the 30 I counted, 10 had parts loose in the package and 3 were missing chin guns. Good luck and happy hunting.
