Oh. Ok. The blurb sounds kinda like the blurb used on the Takara Brave Masterpiece series except about robots and stuff.

Here come the Gatcha Police!

This is probably bumping a mostly dead topic, but I NEED Motion Revive figures. No, like, I actually need them. Or women and babies and the environment will suffer. But I can not find them for sale ANYWHERE.

Someone has to know a reliable source. Or someone willing to trade/sell some? PLZ HELP. Thanks in advance.

ps: This thread is awesome, but dead. Doesn't anyone else LOVE THE RIDERS?

HLJ still has the newest Motion Revive set. The rest of them seem to only be eBay-buyable at this point, sadly.

This saddens me, because the figures I'm desperately looking for are Kamen Rider 1, V3, and Hibiki. The rest are COOL, and series 6 looks great, but those are my favorites. The internet is a cold bitch when it comes to these figures. I even struggled with Amazon Japan for a good ten minutes.

It's even ludicrous in japan, hehe. I saw these all the time when I was there for the Winter of 2007, and never bought them. When I went back for a week in March '08, I bought a box of the then-new Series 3 (I think), and loved them. I managed to track down a box of each of Series 1 and 2 in Den Den Town, but it was very hard. And the singles were -ludicrous- to buy. A couple would be cheap, more would be marked up a little, and the 'secret' figures were like $25 apiece. And you are guaranteed ALL of them in a sealed box, which was maybe $35-40 there.

Just as in the Megaman thread, some of you are about to be very mad at me. My Kamen Rider collection consists of 23 pieces. Here's the breakdown.

3 Souchaku Henshin (Ouja, Black, and Shadow Moon)

15 capsule figures: 9 standard sized figures (Rider 2, V3, Kabuto, Dark Kabuto, Punch and Kick Hoppers, and Den-O sword, rod, and axe forms) 5 Ultimate Solid (Rider 1, X, Skyrider, Kaixa, and Hibiki Kurenai) and a V3 bottlecap figure.

2 packs of cards: 1 is all Kabuto, 1 is mixed

2 issues of the KR mag (The first and last ones, specifically.)

1 Agito scipt

With the exception of the script, it's not so much the collection itself, but how I got them. I bought Ouja for $7. The other 22 pieces were all won from an art contest, two years ago.

Here's the picture I won with. This fan character was the main focus of the contest. I was actually quite shocked that I won. The other pictures were more complex, but apparently he thought mine had more personality.
