IDEAS-related? For now it's just Voltron IIRC. Also some bad news: 1. LEGO will not be present at the London Toy Fair 2. according to different german blog´s, TLC has changed the rules. This year there will be no photos allowed at TLC´s display at Nürnberg Toy fair. Also there will be only invited press-members allowed and it is strictly forbidden to take pictures or report in any way (also not in words!!!!!) about anything. I suppose some pics will still leak from Nurnberg, but I suppose we'll have to wait until NY for actual, close up pics of the summer line-up.
No I mean, any other TRON sets besides the Light Cycle? I didn't realize it would come with 3 minifigures, thought it would just be 1 rider. Admittedly I haven't been keeping up on this set beyond the initial announcement.
Two things: 1.) Sam and Quorra's torsos are switched. Whoops. 2.) I gotta level with you: I'll still probably pick this up, but I'd be much more into it if it were either the 1982 light cycle/characters or you had the option to build the 1982 version, kinda like how the Maze set gave you options for theming and rules.
Trom: Legacy is one of my all time favorite movies. So I need these in my life. Oh look it’s the gate.
The TRON set is IDEAS, so unless they expand onto the franchise this is the only set we'll get. And don't worry, IDEAS set development is usually kept under very tight wraps, so nobody knew this'd come with 3 minifigs. EDIT: 2 More JW (Blurry, but better than nothing) leaks, this time normal sets:
Kinda defeats the purpose of inviting press and then not allowing them to report on what they are shown...
Exactly! Makes no sense whatsoever... but it's their rules so... I guess we'll have to wait until NY toy fair. And another leak:
Hyped about the TRON set! I like the JW sets too but I will just wait for sales or clearance on them like the last sets. Went to multiple Walmarts for clearance finds yesterday and came away with - Aira's Airship & Amulet Chase -$9 Clayface Splat Attack - $15 Lakeside Lodge - $9 Ravager Attack - $9 Milano vs Abilisk - $21 Detroit Steel Strike - $13 I had most of these but couldn't resist the deals Also went to TRU and got the DJ poly and a few LBM series 2 minifigures
I feel the best element is they used the same blue, so both series of JW will look great together on the shelf. And there's potential to expand the Raptor Pen from the first film sets with the shameless re-hash from the first film.
Good for Minifigures from a set based on a movie that I didn't see, also someone mistaking put 2 of the Minifigures heads on the wrong bodies.
Tron minifigures look good (amusing torso switch included)! Definitely keeping an eye on that one's release. That said, I know how I'm spending a few hours tonight and tomorrow... I'm happy when I find something I've been hunting for. I haven't been this outright giddy about a toy in...perhaps ever.
