    Oh definetly.
I can totally understand that, it makes sense. All the rumors surrunding Luke's role in te film described him as doung something very mysterious, and most likely plot important.

So forgive my forgetfulness, but when do the the sets drop again?

Quick question regarding the Scooby sets...Why are they releasing? I mean, is there a new tv show starting or something? Pretty sure there's no new Scooby Doo movie coming out..

The new Star Wars legos should be coming out on September 4. That's the day that all of the new stars merchandise is going to be released.

Scooby is releasing for a few reasons.

    1. There is a new show on CN.
    2. Lego has a longstanding partnership with WB and usually keeps at least one prominent WB property out and highlighted. WB went from Harry Potter to LotR/Hobbit. The line WB wishes to push this year is Scooby Doo.
    3. Scooby Doo is an almost perfect television property for Lego. It is a multi generational property that has been in near continuous production in one form or another for 3 full generations of consumers. Kids know and like it. Parents and Grandparents know it well and feel safe and comfortable with it. It is a common pop culture touch stone between the generations and also has unbelievably deep International Penetration and spread. (another great example of this sort of multi generational appeal is Star Wars). And it is dialed into Lego's primary target age.
    4. From Lego's point of view it takes one of their unexpectedly successful in house lines, Monster Hunters, and essentially amps up that type subject and play with a broad pop culture license and ongoing TV show. Basically better advertising and marketing in return for IP licensing costs. The media tie ins mean this line will probably do 5-10 times better than Monster Hunters, a extremely successful in house line, did. So yeah Lego will be all for this.

Noticed Jurassic vworld sets are disappearing. .... Think they will get restocked or is this it. I am not as hip with Lego trends as other brands. ... I just don't want to miss out.

I think if you want these sets you better grab them ASAP. I don't see these at my local Targets. Last I heard, Walmart has them on clearance. TRU and Lego stores might carry them for a couple of months.

I want these but I just can't justify getting them just for the dinos haha.

yeah, these sets are starting to disappear.. but i haven't seen any of them on clearance at any of the stores i've been to. i think whoever posted that might've been mistaken and walmart either put a clearance sign in the wrong spot or the set itself was in the wrong spot. or maybe that walmart made a mistake. but i haven't seen any of those sets on clearance anywhere. i could be wrong, but it wouldn't make any sense for them to put those things on clearance yet.

i mean, the larger star wars sets aren't on clearance and they were on the shelves way before the jurassic world sets.

also, i've noticed that TRU has a decent amount of the I-Rex sets (probably because of the $140 price tag).. the pteranodon sets are pretty abundant. in most places. the raptor pen sets i've noticed mostly at walmart. the other raptor set i generally see at target. and the t-rex set, at this point, seems like the most difficult to find.

i still think it's a shame that there's no big build-able dinosaur set. maybe we'll get one for the next movie.

anyways.. tonight i'm probably going to finish building the tumbler.. it's pretty damn impressive in person. i'd LOVE to have a lego version of the bat as well. i'd also love to have a burton version of the batmobile and batwing. (i'm talking about big collectors versions of these vehicles)

My Walmart put up a sign for the I-rex set for clearance at $90 although I don't think they ever even stocked that set.

The JW sets are just a case of demand exceeding supply. No one knew how huge the movie was going to be.
I have noticed that some of the sets are harder to find that others. Only one set is currently listed as Sold Out on S@H. The two smaller sets are still in stock and the other list as shipping next month. I really don't see the need to panic. These will be restocked and replenished through the home video release/Christmas shopping season.

No sign of the JW sets selling like crazy around here. So far, at least.
