Good news- someone has the Metalocalypse toy license.

Bad news- It's Shocker Toys and they look like ass.

Shocker has a bad track record of making a LOT of toyline plans and most of them never come about. They've managed a lot of their featureless Stikfas-type block figure stuff(most of which is unpainted) at SDCC but nothing at retail.

So far all they produced was a small handful of each figure of Nathan and Murderface. And in the tradition of their superhero line, the toys manage to look like cheap PVC junk. Nathan is too skinny and he looks like Skeletor in a wig. He's not even holding the mic properly. Shy of their initial run I wouldn't count on seeing these mass-produced.

I honestly wonder how this company gets licenses. They were reporting on an Extreme Ghostbusters license, but it appears as if Sony was smart enough not to let this company have ANY GB licensing(that's the thing about this company- they will announce they have a license before talks even begin!).

There's a review for them with clear pictures here:

They're pieces of shit. It looks like Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo from southpark attacked murderface, literally.

Yea, when I first heard about 'em I was hoping to maybe get the whole band up on the shelf playing instruments or something, those are just garbage. I'd be ashamed to own the metalacalypse franchise, and have figures like that hit the public. I've seen better $1 figures from china at the fleamarket of various things.

Interesting, last I heard Kidrobot had the Adult Swim license.

EDIT: Ah they are doing 3 inch blind boxed figures...I was thinking they would be doing Metalocalypse in the same way they did Gorillaz.

Not a Metalocalypse fan, but if I were, I would be severely dissappointed in these POS. I mean, these are horrible.

    Way to fail, Shocker Toys.

Just stick to your joint rip-offs of Stikfas and Kubrick.

I always wondered what it would look like if they put the Holocaust and the Black Plague together in the form of a toy.

Shocker Toys should change their name to Planet Piss Toys. Because these are EXACTLY the kind of toys Murderface would insist on putting out himself just to spite his fans.

    Nothing about those 'toys' works.

How do great toy companies go out of business, and something like this continues to exist? I mean, don't you have to pay for a license? And don't you you have to have profits to be able to do that?

Shocker went so far as to accuse Toy Biz of bullying retailers into not carrying their comic hero line recently, basically saying that Toy Biz sent letters to retailers of a "carry their goods and we won't let you stock ours" nature.

Now, considering I've seen TB's LCBH at 1 single Meijer store, I'm guessing retailers aren't much interested in TB's current stuff anyway. Pitt looks nice but isn't worth buying $50 in toys I don't want just to build what amounts to one of the crappy ripoff characters of the 90s Image brand(he's Hulk in chains, how inventive!). I might've bought the Body Bags 2-pack if I'd have found one that was painted halfway decently and not smudged all over.

But I would seriously doubt that TB sent out any such letter, considering the overall inability of Shocker to produce anyhting in large enough quantities to even ship out.
