Yea out of 1,000pcs we have like 10 murderfaces that people kept asking about so we listed them. 5 of them are already gone. If fans keep wanting them we will sell the last 5 of them. Please understand we showed the painted versions before the show at SDCC and people saw them on display there....They still wanted them they were something made in 20 days just for the fans.

You should probably stop posting, or at least trying to explain this - you're coming off really bad here. Especially if you're acting as an official representative of this company and it's licenses, and the people who you are accountable to regarding them.

I too suspend further comments until the "real" figures come out, when and if that does happen.

I would think they would respect the fans more than releasing some knee-jerk garbage and say 'hey fans, we made this for you! buy it idiots!"

Even if they are some weird promotional nothing, I can forgive the low-detailed garage-kit resin and no possibility. But the paint job is so horrible I would rather see these sold as unpainted than like that. And 20$? COME ON. I have seen better quality out of fan figs.

So once 1000 people are screwed out of their hard-earned money on these...Will there be a new good release of these characters in real toys?

Short notice and "it was an sdcc exclusive" are not an excuse for releasing something that looks like garbage.

If you can do better, then do better.

    Man, those suck.

And Murderface is like my favorite character.

I'll wait to see the "good" figures that have articulation, then I may bite.

Ok so I get it they had no time to make them and they were garbage (Yes I bought both and have them stashed in the back of my closet never to be seen again) So if they knew they looked like a cheap chinese toy with poo smeared on their faces why they HELL did they charge us $20 a pop!!! My god 40 dollars for those 2 lumps of plastic that look like they were painted by william murderface with his wang!

I won't be buying the wave one which is out now, they look alright but I refuse to pay $90 for a few toys man... just not gonna happen. Esspecially after paying $40 already for the crap ones. I feel I should be able to trade in the garbage ones for the good set.

I interviewed Geoff from Shockertoys a few months back, and it seemed like things were on point, but I haven't heard from him since maybe July? And no sign of any toys on shelves at all, last I saw most stuff was still on pre-order with estimates being pushed back from September to December now. I dunno what to think, bad luck? It can't just be that, given the totality of delays and problems the company has had overall.

I just want to see new toys, damnit.

It was all Cartoon Network that allowed this. The creators and animators of the show hate these.

Oh I don't think that's true across the board. I know Jackson Publick has control over the Ventures licensing, and I know a lot of the Adult Swim shows produced in America have similar control - Tim & Eric, Soup 2 Nuts etc.

Even with decent paint and fixing some of the sloppy mollding, there's no way those things are worth $20 a piece. Even without any real poseability, they could have done it Spawn/macfarlane figure style(fixed poses with arm joints that are useless, but looking cool in that pose) with some accessories. Why would I want figures of a band, not playing instruments?

I'm always amazed year after year since '03 how Shocker Toys keeps getting licenses. They must overpay for the license or they just grab licenses no one's asking for, for cheap. They should spend that money on...oh, I dunno...talent.
