WOAH

so, it's about twice the size, so it would probably weigh in at around $350-ish?

Awesome. I like this pic.

Whoa! The Yamato Brutishdog looks GREAT! As much as I like them, they were too expensive and didn't have "variety". I wanted to see a Strikedog, Standing Turtles etc.

Dude, its kinda difficult to choose as Votoms toys are pretty expensive - IMO! Maybe SydneyY can offer you some suggestions?

Here are some of my older pixs of my Maxfactory ones:

My votoms collection is in storage! If not I would like to share my Bandai 1/20 kits! They're my fave due to the size, cost and ease of construction!

I think everyone has their fave scale and make, but I recommend Bandai 1/20 kit if you are into building models. Not too small and not too expensive. And nice looking!
(I don't have one, though. DMZ eats all my Votoms money )

If you don't like building kits, I think Takara 1/24 RDM (revival dual model) Scopedog is nice, too. Not sure about the availability/price in the US.
RDM is a reissue of 80s Scopedogs, but still very nice with some diecast.

Mine's a Red Shoulder version

with some paint;

Hope you'll find one you like

LigerPrime, nice to see your collection again!

Thanks, dude! I totally forgot abt the Bandai one that you posed on! Pretty good Scopedog too! I would have gotten it but I wanted more variety! LOL! I believe it only has the Scopedog and Brutishdog in its line-up.

If you want to start collecting VOTOMS stuff, and want one relaly awesome centerpiece to start out with, I think I would recommend the 1/18 Takara DMZ 'Dog over the 1/12 Yamato toy... both are amazing, but the Yamato is a much more acquired taste with lots of removable parts and some joints that need a little work before it's a truly great piece... the DMZs are rock solid and awesome out of the box, and have full paint schemes, whereas the Yamatos are closer to assembled kits, and could really use to be painted...

Clear Dog sounds funny even though I dig clear Transformers

The second kit...doesn't seems to need paint! Is it like Bandai's Master Grade kits?
