Vader is going for usually $300+, but his prices will be falling since Sideshow is releasing a new one later this year (maybe). It has been teased though.

I'm tempted to get a Medicom version, but I want to see how the Sideshow version is in hand. Frankly, if you can make the vest even the tiniest bit less square, I'll be happy with the figure. I've been waiting for a Sideshow Boba for years, so I at least owe this one the chance to impress me.

Oh i know there is another Vader coming

. We actually spoke about it during last weeks recording. Figured the original releases price would have gone down because SSC has said this has been int he works for a while now.

Hasn't fallen yet. I'd imagine pics of the new Vader from SDCC will change that.

I sold mine for about $230 a few months ago. I sold it knowing that SS was making a new Vader. Seems to be the 1/6th thing at the moment. Buy figure, keep for a couple years, new more accurate version gets released, sell old figure and buy new new one. Repeat.

I'm wary of picking up SideShow's Vader as the proportions of SideShow's figures don't look as good as HT...I hope I don't make a mistake though by waiting for a HT version.

The worst part is with Sideshow you have no idea what the hell you are getting until it is released, and you can pretty much guarantee it won't look as nice as the prototypes they post on the website.

I wouldn't count on a Hot toys Vader for awhile with the new Sideshow one coming out next year.

Actually the sideshow Vader is pretty good, it even uses a larger body to account for how tall David Prowse is

Also Sideshow is planning new males and female bodies for upcoming lines. They were in the trial and error phase of testing last year.

Agreed he is taller then my HT preds which is far too tall. He almost seems to be his own scale def not 1/6 heh
