DCU Classics

Hi, the other day I completed wave one. Over all they are decent figures. The build a figure though (element man) is pritty badly made. The legs keep popping out which is really annoying... arms are fine though. A shame the quality of this BAF isn't as good as the marvel ones. What does anyone else think about it?

I will continue collecting these figures as there are some great characters coming up in the next two waves (I like em because of the articulation/posability, and of course the characters themselvs). THe BAF of the gorilla dude (wave 2) isn't apealing to me but I like the look of the main figures..harley quinn espeshally. I was wondering if the quality of the gorilla BAF is any better? wave 3 is solomon grundy which I really want! hopefully its better made heh. (anyone got a proto type of this?)

The only really annoying thing is as with the DCSH line they are usa exclusive (or so I would assume as the only UK retailers that have these are importers like forbidden planet and even play.com ones are imports)

Today I lucked out and scored a Harley Quinn and Superman Blue. Now I just need Black Manta and OG Aquaman.

I have the OG Aquaman, but has anyone actually found the modern one?

I haven't seen any of the wave 2 figures yet, but Arthur-Poseur is supposed to be packed as a variant, so he won't be common.

Of course, the wave 1 variants never ended up happening, so who knows what they'll end up doing. Maybe he'll be a running change like the Jason Rusch Firestorm.

Is that the one with the gold armbands? I saw that one. Don't tell me that was the chase. I chose to buy Harley and Manta instead.

Sorry, Octane, but that was the variant. Go about 3/4 of the way down this page to see the regular Aquaman.

I think the regular Aquaman is more desirable than the variant anyway. Me wantie.

I'm loving the 6 dollar DC Directs at Kaybee, too bad the only Mr Fantastic they had was painted by a blind kid.
