Go Go Power Rangers!

Howdy all,

I was really into Might Morphin Power Rangers when I was a kid, but never got any of the toys (I almost got the Dragonzord on a vacation one year, but they were sold out). I finally got a Dragonzord on eBay and one of those Black/Gold Megazords (I plan to display it in Mega Dragonzord mode so I figured that would look better). Anyhoo, since I never actually saw any toy aside from the original Megazord in person, I wanted people's input/pics on the Zords/Megazords from all the lines. I only watched the show up to the beginning of Zeo, so I'm most interested in those, but if there are any particularly bad ass ones after that, I'd love to see them. I'm planning to look at some PR stuff at TRU next time I'm in one.

My advice look for the Japanese Versions of the toys as they have better paint apps (usually more), as well as dicast that the US versions almost never have). And in some cases the US doesn't release all the toys for a series. Case in Point for Timeranger:

I mention that one because the Megazord from that one is my favorite of all of them. It's combination style is unique in that with 5 vehicles it can make 2 different robots, as well as a combined space ship mode:

The are also many Megazords that predate what we know as Mighty Morphan Power Rangers. As the US came in on the 15th season of the show it was dubbed from. Also the US is always a Year behind the origional Japanese show. So if you want to get the Japanese versions of the Zords closer to the original cost then you have to import them while they are out in Japan, which is always a year before we see them here in the US.

do you thiink well ever get reissues of the original MMPR zords and stuff? I would really like to get the zords from the first few seasons.

I love my Dragonzord! I was happy when I bought it. Still AM! Tigerzord, and Falcon Zord are also good imo.
