Huzzah!!! My Witulus, Tigris, Grapflap, and Fort Bragg arrived this morning from HLJ, guess what? I didn't get charged by customs!!! I'm as happy as clam. I havent really perused my purchases yet as my better half is still around. But they look awesome!!! Can't wait for december for the next wave. Now if only we can find a way of getting those darn blank bodies from Japan. Anyone here know anybody in Japan?

The first Konami released Shinki repaint has been annouced (to be released Dec. 13).

Tsugaru "Blue" Version:





The good : This has been upgraded to a full MSS release, meaning that the body will be released with the armor system.

The (possibly) not so good : I'm not sure if this is going to be a Komami store exclusive yet or not.

The bad : I like this version better that the original Tsugaru.

 

...Kinda loses the entire 'Santa' theme when it's blue. :/ That was part of the charm.

I suspect it'll be an exclusive like the alternate Maochao and Howling bodies were.

 

I'm surprised the didn't base the comic off the actual Shinkis themselves, opting instead for these original designs.

A buddy of mine finally caved in and bought himself a Shinki: How Ling. He brought her over the other day.


I almost regret opting for Mao over How Ling, she looks A WHOLE LOT better in person. Like the journals suggest, she's got that "Do you mind, I'm trying very hard to be serious" appeal.

Finally attained Mao Chao today, Have some pics later. I find it interesting that Mao Chao only has weapond for her armoured self.
