Brickshelf=Dead?

Anybody else know anything? I had a TON of my lego related stuff saved on there, including pictures of my lego collections and all my MOCs from the past few years.

Brickshelf was pretty much THE place for Lego image hosting, and I found its system a lot more user friendly than most other places. Man this sucks! @_@

that does suck! oh well it seems maj.com is still up so I guess people will upload thier LEGO pics and MOC there.

Noooooo!!!

I'd been meaning to go through some galleries on that site and save some pics of my favourite builds. And now it seems to be too late...

Brickshelf ruled. I can't believe it's just... dead. Just like that. That sucks.

I mean, the service was free and all, but no warning, no nothing? Period? Even if it would've gone all to hell with the bandwith somebody could've said something a couple months in advance to spread out the backing-up traffic everyday.
I used that site like everyday, and there's a lot of stuff on there I had planned on backing up to Maj later this summer when I got done with my job, but GAH, I'm just so frustrated right now >.<

From what I've read, the guy who runs the site has done stuff like this before. He just shuts down his site without giving any prior notice. Sucks for people who put stuff up there and didn't make backups I suppose.

Is a shame that Brickshelf has disappeared, as they have had been inspiring me to get more into building Lego stuff. I've also posted a lot of my own stuff on there too - good job I got a Webshots album!!
