The funny thing is, using the Destroy Gundam as a self imposed limiter does seem like something Master Asia would do...
Shoulder unit for the Launcher pack is done. Playing with the mounting block before going back over the unit, attaching parts and trying not to keep smudging the copper. I've lost count how many times I did it to the straps coming over the edge. The shield panels came together nicely. I reseated the gatling barrels and a dab of Tamiya extra thin cement gave me a sealed outline for me to hit with panel line accent. Last phase is the dual missile tubes. Don't mind the coarse looking area on the center of the lower panel. Just wet sanding dust from buffing out a fingertip print after touching cement. Next up, the Launcher itself. EDIT!! It begins, MG 1/100 ナラティブガンダム C装備 Ver.Ka ランナー紹介(素組画像追加) The sample reviews for the MG Narrative are coming. This is Kura Kura's preview. Unfortunately he points out very early the canopy for the core fighter cockpit can fracture. One detail I have to laugh about is it comes with the A and B runners from the original MG Unicorn molded in gray plastic. Also, its optics are plastic stickers.
Good lord, @Hadlen_Weltall. Your paint work is unbelievably good. Finished Jehuty today. This build definitely challenged me and I'm pretty sure I will never build a Kotabukiya kit again, but damned if it doesn't look good. The polycarbonate are ridiculously tight and I'm terrified of moving a lot of the joints that use them. Just getting them onto the pegs in several parts had me worried the pegs would snap, and some things (the hands, for example), are crazily over designed. And the stand says Anubis, not Jehuty...sigh.
Well, will wonders never cease.... I just got billed for the Narrative Ver.Ka. considering my experiences as of late with Bandai preorders at HLJ, I was sure I'd be added to the backordered lot....
Yeah, they plastered the *game's* name on the base instead of the Orbital Frame's. Sorry it was such a tough experience but the finished kit is worth it.
I've found their kits to vary in build quality. Their HMM Lightning Saix felt very unpolished, HMM Liger Zero was a pleasant build, and their Brave Super Build Tiger was an absolute joy. All of them of course look great but the general experience isn't as consistent as Gunpla.
