So would open-palm hand accessories now be considered an optional weapon set?

I haven’t seen the last episode yet, but I’ve been hoping for something other than teenage angst and ennui to happen any episode now…

Boy are you in for a treat, then.

I mean it was always obvious to me that the “high school drama” was a false front.

There's a reason why the true beginning of this show involved a three year old racking up more kills in her first sortie than Amuro Ray.

What ever happened to that little girl, hmmm? How come your 25 year old daughter is only 17, "Prospera?" If that even is your real name, which we know it isn't.

She flat out mentions her real identity to Deiling at one point and he literally couldn't have cared less.

My only thought on the matter is it's the time dilation from living in space between planets. In this case Venus years versus Earth years. 21 Venus years equates to 13 Earth years since the Prologue.

Or, the starting point of said 25 years happened before the Prologue when the 17 year old turned 4 years old and we're overthinking this.

    High five!

Only episodes one and two on Gundam info channel and it's premium on crunchy roll. I was hoping for somewhere free. Oh well I watched the prologue and episode one on you tube.

There are loopholes to the official channels. Just be prepared to click X on the pop ups before playing.

Same page I found that has good quality transfers (sub/fansubs) of Layzner compared to the channel I bookmarked on Youtube that are old VHS transfers.

I've been disassembling my Nu VerKa to add the Point Factory diecast set. I think this company has really stepped up their game since their first Barbatos alloy kit (they've since expanded the SEED frames aka Freedom, Justice and Providence, Unicorn, Nu, Sazabi and I think some 00 frames). They include more POM parts on runners to replace polycaps and the PS/ABS runners from the Bandai kit, and the diecast pieces seem to fit better as long as you use the provided screws when necessary.

The difficulty currently is less about the assembly but because I'm trying to take pieces apart without damaging my waterslides or topcoat, haha. This would have been a lot easier if I had the alloy kit during initial assembly.

Only finished the waist and legs, but the added heft is more than superficial. They include ratchets for the ankles which vastly improves stability, and all joints are nice and tight while not being difficult to pose. I believe the shoulders also include ratchets for stability. It also comes with POM parts for better stability for the fin funnels, apparently it makes them extremely solid. But I already reconfigured my fin funnels to be used with the Rage Nucleon high mobility backpack, so I'm not sure I can utilize these changes.

Pic of all the Bandai frame pieces that have been replaced:

The genesis for the whole "Eri is Aerial" thing dates back to Episode 6, "Gloomy Song" when Aerial's GUND NT-D pulse interacts with Pharact's Permet Score 4 GUND and Elan hears and sees images of laughing children right before Aerial's bits blast Pharact apart. And after that, Prospera keeps calling Aerial her daughter.

Additionally, in the second episode when a little recap about Prospera is mentioned, it's said that she married 'in the field' which I suspect is where the Mercury surname comes from. It's not a coincidence that any mention of who Suletta's father is since that forces the question to remain open.

And of course, Eri in the computer monitor at the end of the OP intro.

They wouldn't go to all the trouble of showing Suletta doing things that Eri wouldn't, like not knowing who Cardo Nado is when watching the video, if it wasn't to underscore that Suletta is not Eri. She's Prospera's second daughter.

Suletta is from Mercury, not Venus. Also they wouldn't use planet-relevant timekeeping in a series where space travel and space colonies are a thing, you'd still use standardized Earth-based timekeeping. (has any Gundam series ever done time dilation?)

Is it even possible to overthink a Gundam series? :lol

I think the hints dropped at Eri and Suletta being different are pretty obvious.

And I mean, we're beat over the head with the "Gundams kill their pilots" thing, yet "witches" are still something special. There's something going on there.

This also gives a darker, yet more tragic edge to Prospera. She manipulates Suletta, talks to her like she's a baby, and seems hardly concerned with her daughter's well-being. Yet she had genuine love and and care for Eri in the prologue. If Eri was "claimed" buy the Gundam, and Prospera already went through losing a child, it may have broken and twisted her into not having any deep emotion for her second one. Hell, it could be even more disturbingly cynical in that Suletta is a mere 'replacement' for Eri, created only for the sake of piloting Aerial. If Prospera lost her husband and first/only daughter in short order, that could have pushed her into being this clearly distorted "Mommy Dearest" person we see in the main series.

Hell, even her hair is darker than the prologue. Though I still have a crazy theory that Prospera isn't even Elnora, as we know "duplicate" humans exist and she says that her "face under this mask" was lost despite still having a perfectly normal face. Unless of course it's simply not her face.

    Yes.

    I mean, we just did.

As to your question about time dilation, if any other series has done it. Kind of. There's the Jupiter/Axis Fleet in the UC.
Then IBO and 00 were pretty loose on how long it takes to get from Earth to Mars, or Earth to Jupiter. Even Gundam W did its own bit with a slingshot around Venus to stop a transport bloc sending the Gundams into the sun on Christmas Eve, and getting them back just in time for Christmas morning.

    Plothole Warp Drives be damned.

Prospera outright said she was Elnora to Deiling when they were discussing 'Quiet Zero' and the episode after Prospera shows up (with the whole "I lost my arm and face to Mercury being a shit place to live" spiel), we see Prospera with the mask off and showing her face is perfectly fine. She also has the one scene where she meets with Bulmeria Winston of Peil and they briefly talk about what they had to do after the attack and destruction involving Folkvangr.

Another thing to keep in mind is Prospera's reactions during the 6v6. They show she's none to happy to see the Grassley suits, since five of them resemble the machine that killed her husband (indirectly), and when Aerial goes Score 6 and absolutely shuts down the Antidode, Prospera sheds a tear.

I personally don't think Prospera is intentionally being a manipulative psycho regarding Suletta, but she's so traumatized by everything as well as consumed on her path for revenge that she doesn't realize what she's done. Suletta just absolutely goes along with everything because of the Mercury isolation and Prospera being a mothering figure gives that feedback Suletta craves, since Mio sees right through that shit when Suletta just lets the whole "Aerial actually WAS a Gundam the whole time" thing slide as if she hadn't been lied to her entire life. Very ends justify the means, which is very appropriate for the series Char Clone.

Yeah, the tone of this show took a complete 180, especially with the end credits scene. I’m interested to see if we get more action in the second season. I guess the events in the final ep may lead to some form of corporate warfare, so that’s could be a ‘yes,’ but they all may go back to school, emotional scars and all, and mope around for 12 more episodes.

Gundaminfo has recently been approved for showing in the NA market, that is why only few eps are showing for you. They will eventually show all 12.
