I personally didn't like the look of the Metal Build Red and Blue Astrays when they showed up at the hobby shows earlier this year. They've got a bottom-heavy, thunder-thighs look to them that isn't as distracting on the Gold Frame due to its large backpack, wider shoulders, and extra arm-mounted equipment offsetting the lower body proportions. Without that extra stuff, though, the mold looks very "leggy".
Does kind of look like the red frame has been hitting the leg press a little bit too much. But I still think it looks alright.
MG V2 Gundam, looks very promising! MG seems to address most of my issues with HGUC V2 which just look mediocre at best. Here is the slightly modified HGUC V2 (lower shoulder position and shorten abdomen)

Home from my cross county adventure to North GA. Looking at the MG Fenice's box, I'm seeing a model we don't have in the scale yet.. Come to think of it, we don't have an MG of the Miss Sazabi either...
Nice progress so far. Are you planning to re-prime the parts that you sanded before moving on to the paint?
Thanks! I am not going to apply any primer after this but I will spray some gloss black as the base coat for the primary colour gold and like other people suggested earlier, I will use high grit (1000 and 2000) sandpaper to get rid of uneven area.
Ah, I see you've found the new parlor room expansion Squee had installed on his mansion made of gunpla boxes.
