I have always been an airplane junky but I am just not becoming obsessed with WWII fighter planes..

I have been spending bucks on building RC models but I would love to find some high quality/detailed models... preferrable ones that aren't terribly expensive..

Do you know of any? I'm particularly interested in P-40s, Spits, P-51s, F4-Us and A6Ms...

    Thanks!

Don't know which you want more, but on the more affordable side while still possessing some great detailing and quality is 21st Century Toys.

Check out some of the planes you mentioned. They're also coming out with a 1/48th F-4 soon. The pics on their site don't do their products credit, but they're sold at TRU, so you can check some out in person there. Don't know what the secondhand market is like for these, but they might be just what you're looking for.
