I was really surprised how heavy the die-cast content was. That thing is really heavy! Transformation from jet to robot is half-tricky, you just need to be careful to not force anything. 1 little panel and the left shoulder were kinda glued on, had to carefully move them around to avoid breakage but now everything's fine. The legs are not easy to pose but it's a great display piece. The book-box is really cool and sturdy too. |

It's not bad, though the assembly quality is rather rickety. Lotsa panels and etcetera don't line up quite right.
But, for someone like me that never even saw the show it's from, it ain't all that bad.

The knee had excess plastic sticking out needing to be trimmed before it could bend, the elbow joint breaking, knee guards not staying on, plane mode not alligning properly etc. Its now in my back draw never to be seen again...

Far as I'd heard, the build quality on the Alphas was way better than the first MPC Veritechs, but still was pretty spastic. Apparently the first ones released (blue and red??) had it much worse.
Been thinking of trying to find the Shadow one, as I heard it had the least Q/C problems.
The design itself is really awesome though, and the die-cast content is -pleasing-.
