Yup. I bought a 1/60 scale VF-0A! I've been thinking about getting one for awhile, now, but when i was looking at reviews and pictures tonight I just couldn't wait any longer! I snapped. Saw one on eBay for a somewhat decent price, took the money i made from selling my MP 'Screamer along with the rest of my PayPal balance and dammit I feel great!:)

So, how long till the addiction hits? Any bets on how many more Yammy's I'm gonna buy?

The reviews I've read about his guy (err... mech) make him out to be pretty sweet. I know there are quite a few Macross fans here, some of you are bound to have teh VF-0A, what do you guys think? Did i pick a good place to start?

Those things look awesome but I tend to stay way from them. I know I'll get easily addicted. I'm not a fan of Macross per se.....but I love the mech...

I strongly advise ya not to buy anymore of those things because they EXPENSIVE and ADDICTIVE.

How many more will you buy? As many as you can afford.

I only have 1 1/48 VF-1, but seven of the 1/60 VF-1 series. And if I had the money, I've had my eye an approximately ten others, give or take five depending on the day.

Good thing the rest of my life is so expensive or I'd have a house full of Yammies.

My VF-0S is pretty awesome. I will say this, though: Once you transform it, unscrew the shoulder armor and check the shoulder joints. They have a tendency to develop some pretty ferocious stress cracking, even more so on the 0A than on the 0S from what I understand.

    I'm close to ten 1/48's.

    In addition to my 3 1/60's (VF-0S, YF-19, and Q-Rau).

I'm saving up for Shin's VF-0A, SV-51 (Ivanov and Nora versions), and the eventual YF-21.

I've got plenty of VF-0s and VF-1s and everything else in between. I really like the 0A to the 0A due to the coloring and the 0A head. I haven't actually opened mine yet but I know there are shoulder issues. Hopefully the Shin version will fix all of this.
