Looks cool but for something that big, and maybe expensive, why did they trust the entire project to kids?

I mean, they gave them pliers and screwdrivers.

There was a short notice about them in a issue of manga mania about a month ago, I remember that the price was mentioned but I don't recall the amount of cash required.

I'll try and find the magazine and se if I can find it !

And I suppose that you spoiled brats want a translation too.

    Dekorate with Gundam

The moneymachine Gundam continues to roll on in Japan. Bandai Japan has decided to manufacture Gundammodels in human scale !
The robot can move arms and legs, pose and has programmed sound and light efects.
350000 yen (approximatley 22000 Swedish krowns) is the price for the whole feast.

Yeah... just a bit pricey, eh? I could have a new computer and a giant-screen TV for that kind of money.

Also, Kind of a shame that there are no knee or hip joints. Kind of prevents you from posing it in front of the TV with a beer and the remote, or putting it in the passenger seat of your car and driving it around town.

But still... holy crap! That is COOL! Those must be the happiest Japanese children ever. :)

HOLY SHIT! That's cool, but $2,900 buys a shitload of G1 TFs. Now, maybe if the thing could walk around, fix me dinner, vacuum the carpet, etc., I'd bite.

I'm certainly glad that I'm not a Gundam collector.

I would hollow that out and wear it around.

No, ask anybody who knows me. that is TOTALLY what I would do with it.

its sad when the thing is as detailed as one of the smaller cheaper model kits, and nothing close to the masterpiece grade gundam

That's so cool. And so easy a couple of kids can do it. If I had that I'd kitbash some crazy details into it. That would be cool.

I'd get one if it came with this girl:

Also, if that's too steep for ya, Bandai also makes a 1/24 scale HY2M Gundam that is fully posable (as opposed to this one, that is only posable from the waist up.)
