Ooh, those other two are good choices too...not many would give props to Cybertron Scattershot (assuming cybertron defense team version), but I got it recently (waited for a sale) and REALLY like him, namely his outstanding robot mode.

Hey, have you gotten the 3 piece mini-con set that goes along with him? (they come as the autobot counterparts to the 3 planes that form the sword)

    Wow, where to begin?

    1. Black/White Fender Stratocaster and 100 watt Marshall amp. I've played bass for 10 years and have always wanted to learn how to play a reg. guitar. Now I have one.

    2. Classics Jetfire. Easily my toy of the year. It's not even a homage, it's the real deal. Never had the G1, and with this bad boy I don't need it. Everything a TF should be.

    3. G1 Galvatron reissue, Blaster reissue, and Soundblaster reissue. Why am I lugging all 3 into one pick? Because I bought them all at the same time, and it was in New York City. I never thought I'd get Galvy, and I also never thought I'd get to NYC, but I did both.

*edit* I so totally forgot the Wii. However, my wife camped out overnight to get it and it *was* an Xmas present, so I guess it doesn't count. But yeah, it's the best system ever made.

    1. Nintendo Wii. Best game system I have ever purchased.

    2. Classics Jetfire. Simply stunning.

    3. Ultimate Daibouken, particularly after seeing what they did to his American counterpart. Makes me all the more thankful that I got him when I did.

    1. Classics Jetfire. I've already sucked up a LOT of memory singing this toy's praises.

    2. Cybetron Primus. Planet Cybertron in exquisite detail. And it transforms into the god of Transformers. Definitely "The Win".

    3. Classics Bumblebee. I never owned the original G1, but I played with it and it wasn't all that great. Cl BB kicks more arse than a platoon of Marines.

Hard call, I got a lot this year I really liked...

BWR-01 Primal vs Megatron - Ironically enough they were what got me back into Transformers despite putting them off for 10 years, a friend of mine had them when I went to his house after school once and I loved them. But eBay ones went for a fortune and I hated how inaccurate Megatron was. I almost got T-Wrecks and Universe Primal to supplement but I held back every time I saw the toys. Procrastination paying off this year getting the ultimate versions of both molds that satisfied my budget and need for accuracy. (And thank you Hasbro for misassembling Megatron, if it was as good as the japanese release I got it wouldn't make this list)

THS-02 Convoy - I love this little guy. A G1 Convoy small enough to keep on my desk and still poseable enough to have enough pose variety to not get bored of. All the extra accessories and trailer help, too, and diecast to boot, how do you beat all that? Also on the list for the price I got him at ($35 shipped baby!)

Webdiver Garyun - I started collecting Webdiver recently and this is the figure that assured me it was worth it. There's not much cooler than a pirate ship that turns into a dragon with a massive sword, and I love dragon Transformers as it is. Throw in all the little touches that give it personality and it's made a great purchase.

Honorable mentions to MP Starscream (too fragile to place), Cybertron Primus (barely edged out by BWR-01), Webdiver Doragon (big as hell but not as cool as a pirate ship), and Alt. Nemesis Prime. (Why couldn't you have the paint aps of the japanese version...)

    20th Anniversary Prime DVD edition

    Masterpiece Starscream

G1 Smokescreen C9.5 (nearly MISB, one flap open, figure still on the insert card) -this one is kind of special because I'd been trying to find a nice one for years, but always seemed to lose out.
