I've seen this mentioned before, but I can't remember:


I found this at Big Lots, three robots at $3 each that combine into this guy. I'm assuming it's a KO of a Brave robot, but which one? Is it still available at all?

I'm impressed enough with the KO to want to buy the real thing, if it's affordable.

It's not at retail any more, but if you do enough hunting around, you could probably find one.

I have this set, it's quite decent for the price.

I bought a $3 toy at Big Lots with an ad for smokes built in.

 

I've got the originals, they're a very nice set. I personally think they must be unused TF designs since they all have the unified gimmick of the rotating chest, plus they were the first Braves along with Exkaiser and Ultra Raker, and I think the Generations DX book near on confirmed with the artworks of the unmade toys that the Rakers had been planned as TFs at some stage. Haven't got Generations DX so I'm going on hearsay there.

For a KO, it sure does look niffy. What the quality of the toy like?

 

For $9 total, I can't complain. As usual with KOs, the stickers look like they were put on by monkeys, the molding is a bit off in places, and the plastic isn't top notch.

I'd say it's a higher quality KO than most found at Big Lots, however. As far as I can tell, all the gimmicks are still there. Each still has the rotating chest gimmick, and weapons that combine together into one big one for the combiner.

 

Damn, that's pretty nice. I might have to try and get someone over there to hook me up with a set.

 

I wanted to grab that set at Big Lots a couple of times, but everytime the white jet is sold out.  

 

That does look pretty cool. for $9 I may have to go to Big Lots and check it out.
