That's what I was thinking, I had some Mego stuff when I was a kid and these remind me of them - a lot!

I saw Demogoblin, but he's got a glider - Demogoblin never had a glider, so that bothers me.
EDIT: Checked myself on Wikipedia. Appears I was wrong. My bad. I think that I was thinking of Carrion.

They remind me of Doctor Octopus's arms - which, in a book I read, were said to be a device called "waldoes." (I can't find a Wikipedia entry to confirm that this name is correct.)

I thought he had a "flame glider" like the one the toy comes with? I really don't recall. I only remember his one or two appearances after the Doppleganger/Infinity Gauntlet stories.

No luck on the Iron Spidey anywhere. Going to Michigan City tomorrow, maybe he'll pop up there. I did see the Punisher from the Origins Signature series. Didn't look to bad.

I found both Signature series Iron Spidey and basic today. So they must be more prevelant now.

As far as toys go, I am mainly into TFs, but I do occasionally get something if it looks like a nice representation of characters I like. I do like Spiderman a lot, but I have quite a few toy incarnations of him, and when I saw the Origin toys, I couldn't help but think they were really pushing it, especially when I know a slew of toys will be hitting along with the movie later this year. I guess my question is if these are really worth getting if you already have a few good Spiderman toys?

Yea, get em if you like em. if you don't really collect them though and have enough Spideys, dont get them.

I got the recent posable Spidey from Origins today with some web flipping thing. The gimmick is the flip, not on the toy so I didn't mind. Well I get him out of the package and he's not that super-posable. His next is cocked funny and his hands are molded in position. Toy Biz did a better job on their first run of classics than these Hasbro ones.

I bought Venom a couple months back...pretty cool. I've been thinking of getting a Spidey to go with it, but I haven't seen one I like yet. Good thing there's like 30 Spider-Man molds in a single wave:rolleyes2

Well, it seems (in my area, at least) that the Origins line is being cleared out (presumably to make way for Spidey 3), so grab 'em while you can.
