does anyone remember a toy called DAIBENJIN

    I was looking at some old photos taken in 1984 of me with my display of Tfs at the time, and i noticed a particular robot which my mum thought was a Tf and bought for me. Luckily the box was in the background of the photo and i can just make out the name Daibenjin. He was metal and plastic and turned into a futuristic space ship. I think he shot missiles as well. Does anyone know who im talking about? I did a google search but the resulsts came back with nothing.

    Are you sure of the name? If so I guess it's not Japanese, considering what "daiben" means...

    No no, random guessing will make this fun!

    Seriously though, I had a toy that transformed into a furistic car, into a robot. It had no articulation, and needed one part to add on to the car, and the head for the robot mode. But I loved it... wish I could find it. And that missing part...
