What the hell are these, and how did I not know of their existence?

I seriously need to consider just turning over my bank account to someone else. I can't be trusted with it.

    Oh damn. That is SAHWHEEEET!

Yep. Definitely time to hand the wallet over to the wife. Especially if I plan on saving up ANY money for BotCon next summer.

Hard to say just how much, but they're probably worth something. Oddly enough, there were a few smaller versions of the Green Abarenoh for PR, but they never made the full sized one. So there's only the one version of it.

Yeah, I saw the smaller version of the PR one in the stores but it wasn't easy finding the er, "Deluxe" versions. In fact, I assume that no such version existed in the US line. So you can imagine my suprise when I saw the Japanese ones. The colours look nice as in "green dinosaurs".

You're right, the green DX Abarenoh was never actually released in the US line. It's akin to the usual black and gold alternate colors that appear in almost every other series, though I'm not sure why Bandai went with such a unique alternate color scheme for this line alone, but I'm fine with it.

What I also find interesting is what Bandai did with the DX Bakurenoh, because its Dino Thunder counterpart, the Blizzard Force Megazord, is quite drastically different in color - and for the worse, because it doesn't look very "blizzard-y" or even color-coordinating.

Thanks for the reply...looks like I will be most likely picking up these 2 varients. I like the design of the main mecha and am getting "Killer" just to complete the series.

I got the Japanese Blizzard Force Megazord and I agree, it looks so much better than the US version's - colours too gnarly.
