There are, but not everyone is going to want to buy all the main Rangers to be able to complete the Megazord. Works for those who also want the Rangers, but not so much for anyone just interested in the Megazords. Even more so since the figures are bound to be twenty or more bucks a pop.
Clarification: I wish it was done that way in the first place, instead of just a rerelease of the one released in 2010.
I was okay with the premium style re-release since I skipped the 2010 version (and I love die-cast bricks like Godaikins). But I'd gladly buy a $120 SoC style version.
I just got my thunder megazord in and the tape on the box on both sides been cut and retaped with a second tape over the cut tape. Is this normal?? I want to leave one misb for display. Will buy another later to open up. Curious if this is a return?
Sounds like it might be. I don't know of any cases of double taping. That's not to say it's impossible, there could be factory sent double taped boxes. They did send out the fixed parts in the newer run of the Megazord. Perhaps Bandai opened the boxes to swap out the silver panels and retaped it themselves? I don't know. I'd check around.
i've been looking at TRU.com and Amazon.com for the Ankylo Zord, Pachy Zord, and Spino Zord but TRU seems to never be instock and Amazon are way over priced. this morning while checking TRU.com, i saw a new item, a collection item with the Ankylo Zord, Pachy Zord, and Spino Zord in one box for $60. obviously i ordered it and is now heading to my home. now all i have to wait for is the Titano Charge Megazord. this day was good.
My TRU got in two TMZs on today's truck. I priced matched TRU.com's $175.99 price. I also had a new 20% off one item coupon, valid starting tomorrow. Unfortunately you can't stack the coupon on a sale item. I guess I could've waited until tomorrow to use the coupon on the $199 store price, but I didn't want to risk it. I didn't buy one on Saturday because it looked like a re-taped box and even that one was gone by Tuesday.
I got my Artisan DX ToQ-Oh today. Some people don't like the design, but I think it's beautifully retro, especially with the die-cast. My son is stoked.
Got the PRDSC mega pack in the mail today. i looked at the back of the box and saw the head of the spino megazord is different than the head of the T-Rex megazord. it looks really awesome with the ankylo zord and pachy zord. i hope i don't have to wait too long for the Titano Charge Megazord.
Man I sure would like to know when legacy ninja megazord is coming out and what it will look like. I'm going crazy from not hearing new info about it.
Most likely we'll see it at Comic-Con in July, same as when we first saw Legacy Thunder Megazord last year and Legacy Tigerzord before that.
I kind of want one, since you can get it for $100 these days. But since I own the original, it's hard to double dip...
I got mine for $92 shipped, I thought it was a good deal, especially since I had it shipped from the US to Canada.
so how long will the legacy line keep on going? i started collecting PR toys in 95 with the Ninja Megazord. i'm still like to get other zords from Zeo, Turbo and In Space. anyone knows how powerful the ending to the Zordon era was and i was just... i guess emotional to it. i kept watching but stopped with the zord collecting. i didn't watch the re-vision of MMPR in 2010 but the following year, i watch both Power Rangers Samurai and Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and i liked both but it was Gokaiger that gave me the itch to buy the mecha/zords again. i waited until Super Megaforce aired and got the Legendary Megazord and every zord since then. the only zord (or mecha to be more accurate) i have that is not the american version is King Pyramider. i compared pictures online of KP and Pyramidas and i prefer the japanese version because it is closer in appearance to the sentai version. ...and because the sentai version was half the price at amazon compared to the PR version.
