My guess is the pegs on their backs are for posing stands. So if you want the figures in jumping poses and stuff...there's the other. Maybe? Hasbro seems to have finally gotten it with their Armored Red Ranger. Now if they would put it on the regular figure.
What' the problem with the helmet? I only heard he has white boots and 5 stripes, but the 6 Walmart had yesterday were all fine.
The white around the visor is always crooked or half missing along with other crooked paint apps. Some things I can touch up with a marker, but not white.
Oh I get it, it's frustrating, but you pretty much just have to keep looking in stores to see if they have a better copy you can buy and then return the other one. That's what I've been doing with In Space Pink to no success, however.
After a delivery screw up yesterday, Amazon was able to deliver my Scorpina/Yellow pack today.... with 2 cases of sparkling water I had previously ordered. Yeeeeah, its a good thing I didn't care for the box. Anyways, my Yellow Ranger suffered some paint QC. Had some paint around the mouth that made it look like she had a silver goatee from the side. Was able to easily remove it. What I can't seem to remove though is some paint stain on the abdomen.
Trying to think of what percent chance threezero or super7 will go beyond mmpr. I don’t even know if they have the rights to the other teams
I don’t know about ThreeZero, but I think Super7 said they have access to pretty much all of Power Rangers. Unfortunately they more or less indicated they plan to focus on Mighty Morphin.
Maybe super7 will use the go fund me approach for other teams so they don’t have to waste time and money if nobody wants them
Super7 already charges upfront for preorders on their Ultimates lines so I don’t know how much different doing an actual crowdfunding would work. I think at the least we’ll get the Alien Rangers since they were part of Mighty Morphin. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Squadron Rangers (Dairanger) happened just because the people at Super7 seem to really be into the Japanese side of things. We’ll just have to see how well the line does. There’s still a lot of potential Mighty Morphin figures for them to do first though, if that’s the focus. The villains, monsters, and allies aside, there’s the Ninja Rangers, Metallic Armor, and civilian forms of the Rangers that could keep the line going with Mighty Morphin for a while.
I don’t know anything about “Squadron Rangers,” but I’ll buy any of the Dairangers if Super 7 or Hasbro make them
Only way that comes to mind to mix it up is if the pitch was solely digital and crowdfunding would determine whether or not it was even worthwhile to proceed to molds and physical prototypes. That way if it didn’t work out, only the expenses of design would be lost rather than locking into physical prototyping and the rest.
That’s the official Power Rangers name for them. After debuting back in Super Megaforce they apparently recently got a backstory in the comics. They did make Ryuranger a woman though, but a male figure could be done as the Super Megaforce version. With the base Ranger bodies already done it would make something like that a lot easier. They already do use digital versions of the figures for the promotional images of their preorders anyway, so really I guess they don’t have to do much different other than set a minimum order amount for the figures to get made. I just figured what with so many of their lines, even their own in-house IP, getting enough retail support to ensure they get produced, there isn’t much a need to set minimum order numbers. But I can see where certain Ranger teams might be a harder sell as they get further away from Mighty Morphin. Although, I’d personally only interested in them doing other teams just so I can get their villains. A Divatox and Astronema in that scale would be amazing. Especially since they’d give us most, if not all, of Astronema’s alternate hair styles.
I feel like the Squadron Rangers/Dairangers are more likely to get done via Lightning Collection before Super 7. Especially since Hasbro does appear to be paying attention to and making things from the Boom Studios comics. I haven't read those issues yet so I'm not really sure I have any interest in getting them.
